We (two recent widows) were celebrating my friend's birthday. I had asked, in OT, if Christo's does anything special for a birthday. Without being asked, after dinner, staff appeared quietly, bearing a piece of the limoncello cake with a lit candle! All during our visit, we could deeply relax, knowing everything would go well. I always check a menu for eggplant dishes, and not seeing one quickly, I happened to ask the server, Kelsey, if they had any eggplant. She replied yes, there is eggplant parmesan-- it's just off-menu. I got my eggplant. Everything was exquisite! Thank you, Christo's!
Actually everything was very good except the feeling that our server wanted us to hurry. There were four of us dining together. Cristo's had several empty tables around so it wasn't like anyone was waiting for a table. We ordered cocktails, appetizers, a bottle of wine with dinner, desserts and even an after dinner drink for one of us that didn't have a cocktail before dinner. We all ordered different entrees and everyone was very happy with their food. We didn't complain about anything and left over a 20% tip so not sure why we were being "somewhat" rushed to leave. We'll go back because everything else was very good.
What a lovely change from salads for lunch to enjoying the delicious Primavera! The food service was exceptional. I sense the host is bored with his job and people in general. He seemed aloof and disinterested. Maybe at 11:00 a.m. he hadn't had his second cup of coffee yet.

Always reliable for the best food and service in the valley. It is refreshing to see the same warm servers on each occasionâ¦especially the lovely man with the most beautiful grey hair ever.
