Good service, friendly staff. I was rather hungry, hence the middle of the meal picture. Well, it also tasted really good. :)
I thought they closed the doors all together when the northern location closed. Saw this driving northbound on I-17 @ Happy Valley did a U-turn and this ladies in gentleman is what you've been waiting for with Mexican food. Amazing ??
My first day in Phoenix and we are hungry needing something to eat. That was the worst Mexican restaurant I have ever been to. The Beef taco and cheese Enchilada were bad, taste like old meat or been sitting on the fridge or freezer for a long time. The server even agreed with us.
I go there for lunch. I am always seated promptly, and a server is always at my table within 5-7 minutes. This week's server was Brandi, and she was cheerful, responsive and attentive - truly exceptional!Fresh chips and in-house prepared salsa are quickly on the table. The food is promptly served and is always hot and delicious. When the check is requested, it arrives quickly, along with a box for leftovers, as the portions are sufficient to make 2 meals for us calorie-conscious folks. When I go out for lunch, this place is in my regular rotation.
I ordered the The Grande burrito it was huge... I could not finish it. It was so good. Definitely a place to go try. Real friendly people, great service.
Great lunch menu, but I really missed the Little Bit of Everything. There was green beer and corn beef tacos for St. Patrick's Day.
Have eaten here twice now, very slow service both times, First time I ordered the #9 combo and the food was pretty bland. The second time around I ordered the Grande Burro Enchilada Style and could not eat it, it taste so awful. I do not plan on there being a third time.
First time eating here at this Carlos O’Brien’s. Waiting much too long to get food after ordering... almost 50 minutes. Ordered 2 tacos. Lots of lettuce and cheese and some tomatoes. Very little chicken in the tacos. It was difficult to ear because the shells were cracked and broken. Not enough workers.
Delicious food and drinks. Awesome staff, great service.
3pm on a Tuesday. Chips and salsa were ok kind of run of the mill... Taco Tuesday good special was pretty good. My wife had a beef chimichanga which was very good. Hostess was very indifferent about everything. No smile, no thank you for coming. Just plopped our menus down and said "There you go." The waitress made up for it. Very nice and attentive while not being pushy. The entryway needed a sweeping but the bathroom was very clean. Would go back
