Never had sushi as amazing as this! It's fresh, it's varied, some of them are crunchy yet with soft rice. The flavors were unique. I was with someone who has lived in Japan and could not believe how unbelievably good it was. We got 4 different kinds and definitely will get 4 new ones next time til we try them all. They have baked, steamed, raw, deep fried... So much choice!
This is miracle sushi! I could go and kiss the chef its so good. Each roll that I had was so individual and delicious. Unexpectedly filling but still refreshing, each bite was amazing
We were looking for a bite to eat and ended up with an absolutely delicious meal! Portions are larger than you would expect of a bento box. Excellent sushi deals at lunch time. Great service as well. All the food was so good!
Ordered lunch special 3 rolls(Tuna Avocado, Salmon Avocado and Shrimp Tempura), and some Nigiri(Tuna and Salmon). Authentic sushi:)(I’m from Japan and I’ve been missed good sushi!!!!!) Everything was so good(especially salmon!!!), can’t wait to go back again!
The absolute BEST sushi and Japanese food in North Phoenix!Shinji’s Bento Box has authentic Japanese food and sushi made by a super kind and considerate staff. I have been coming here for months and accidentally became a regular. The service is exceptional and the food is delicious!I brought my family here and they all agreed is was some of the best sushi they’ve had.I cannot recommend this restaurant enough!
Visited here for lunch. Ordered the 3 sushi rolls lunch special. 1 avocado, 1 vegetarian roll and 1 salmon roll. I felt sick after eating here. I was with a friend who ordered her own sushi. She felt sick too. Not returning here. It’s hard to mess up avocado rolls. The avocado pieces were brown and tasted off. Salmon was not fresh.
Delicious and fresh! This place does japanese food really well. I recommend their lunch box specials, lots to sample and filling. Great little place to eat!

My favorite sushi! I crave their California Rolls on a weekly basis, the best there is. Their other rolls are phenomenal as well. Not sure what is different about this place's sushi, but there is definitely something different in the best ways. Prices you can't beat, especially during lunch time. Customer service is always great as well.
Nice, small and cozy place. I am as a fond of Japanese food recommend this place. Very tasty.
