Wow wow wow!!! I loved Birria Queen as well, but AZ Taco King was just one cut above. The consome had such amazing flavors that every single bite was so satisfying. My family loved it! The service was great, the food was even greater, and I loved the atmosphere and the way the restaurant was decorated. It was super welcoming, and busy. Definitely a hot spot you need to try!
Best birria tacos ever! Place was busy so that's a good sign of good food.I ordered the ramen birria and it was hot, tasty and delicious. A birra quesataco on the side topped it off. Was just as good as the ramen. There was a little bit of wait, but not bad and well worth it. Good music in the background. And the staff was great.
So, I run a marketing agency for a living and it’s not unusual to have ads come up for new restaurants serving trendy foods in our city, or even neighboring ones. After going to a competing birria taco shop, I was getting inundated with posts from Taco King so I finally dragged a friend out to try it!First off, I just want to state that I really enjoyed my conversation with our server Jennifer. She was super sweet and informative, and was ready to help with anything we could have needed.Second, the food was good! To be honest, it’s really hard to eat these tacos without using 50,000 napkins so don’t wear a nice shirt. ? we had one keto quesotaco thing one quesotaco and the ramen (all birria) and they were all good!!They also have the fresco drinks and I think feature different flavors? I showed our server a pic of the one I wanted/had seen on Instagram and she said they had watermelon this week. Got it with chamoy and tajin and honestly this was my favorite part of the whole experience ? it was so good!!Anyway, good luck AZ Taco King Fam on your new location! And I’ll be back!
First time here! The restaurant was not too busy when we arrived, so our order was taken and we were seated within the first 10 minutes. It was clean overall. Small bathrooms.I ordered a Quesabirria taco and a taco de Carne Asada. The quesabirria had good flavor and so did the consomé. The consomé was a bit oily for my liking, but it was good. The carne asada was well seasoned, but it might have been overcooked because it was hard to chew. The portions were decent and filling. I also got to try their tacos al pastor, and they were good. The meat was seasoned and cooked well.To drink I ordered an agua fresca de jamaica with a chamoy rim. It was so delicious! I definitely recommend their agua de jamaica. It’s perfectly sweet, refreshing and pairs well with the food! The chamoy adds some spice and tartness to the drink, which I personally enjoy. I also got to try their agua de horchata, and it was tasty. Their portions are decent.I definitely recommend the aguas frescas!
Really good birria the pizzadilla (pictured) was full of birria definitely need to bring an army to finish this :) would go there again to try the ramen birria and the blueberry lemonade is to die for ! Also the place is super busy and i think they should get a bigger place tables are super close but overall food is great .
Got my food in a timely manner and it tasted great as always!!
Oh my goodness, it was everything I hoped for and more. I got the birria ramen and birria tacos and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! Jennifer was our server and she was awesome! Can’t wait to come back and try more ?
Amazing tacosI had the al pastor street tacos and the carne asada quesatacos they were super good. The meat was perfect and the tortilla for the quesatacos was a little crunchy which makes it so yummy.
This establishment was very busy on a Friday night at 9pm. The dining room was pretty full when I went inside to order takeout. The street tacos that I had were very tasty. The Al pastor and the birria de Res were packed with flavor. They were very good. The barbacoa taco was missing something, maybe a little bit of salt and it would have been perfect. The barbacoa meat was tender and not chewy. Definitely come get some street tacos from this restaurant!
Food was absolutely delicious and the servers were very sweet and friendly. My only complaint is that she didn’t tell us that their lunch specials were only on weekdays and our bill was almost $80 ? She said it was on the menu, but it must be small enough to be easily overlooked. Just be aware if you’re a first time customer coming on the weekend. Other than that, it’s a great place to eat!
