First time here. Donât let the location throw you off! The food was fantastic. The service was fantastic. So happy we found this gem! Cant believe itâs been there over 40 years and weâve never been before. Will definitely be back!
Great restaurant! The service was excellent, decor was very nice. The pasta (carbonara was excellent and tagliatelle with beef ragu was outstanding.). Canât wait to try the Osso bucco! Overall, a very nice meal. Weâll be back!
I can not say a more positive review for this restaurant. Old school? yes, but that is its charm. Food is amazing, service is attentive and energetic. You MUST put this on your list. They also have a cocktail/piano lounge. Cocktails were brilliant. The menu is again old school but don't let that think the food is boring or bland... it is the exact opposite. Full of flavor and fun. We will be back again and again
Ordered Linguine with White Clam Sauce and it was not what we expected, We expected at least a few whole calms with shell however the dish was prepared with canned clams that were dark brown in color. The linguine picked up the color of the clams and overall no taste
I've been to Avanti at least six times now in the past year and a half. Shame on me, as I've been remiss to post my 5-star opinion of them.Between my own selections and tasting those of those dining with me, I have had a broad overview of their menu. Apps, salads, entrees, and desserts are all absolutely delicious. Try the calamari Florentine, rather than the typical fried one. Mussels, if they have them, are delicious either in the wine/garlic prep, or the red sauce. The Ceasar is an award-winner, but I love the Benito salad. My fave entree so far is the roasted lamb shank.Service is impeccable. Nothing to complain about here. They know the menu, also. I've asked several times about this, or that, to choose from, and they do have an opinion. Go with their recommendation! Also, if you can get there close to opening at 4:30-5pm, it is far less hectic. Fri and Saturday evening, a pianist comes in to the bar area. That's my next visit!
Amazing service all around ! The owner greeted us the second we walked in & sat us. The bartender himself came & took our orders. The food, AMAZING ! This place is awesome & I will definitely be returning.
The veal chop was tasteless. I would not order again.
