Absolutely an incredible spot. First of all the food was super authentic and fresh. It shows that the best quality ingredients are chosen. The red sauce was perfect, just like I remember from my grandma and NYC.I was impressed by the bartender’s knowledge and recommendation of wine. I tried two different glasses and each were delicious, not sitting in the bottle for days.We were so full that we didn’t try dessert even though the options sounded amazing, but we did get a few slices to go from Isa’s. By far, the best NYC pizza we have had in Arizona. The staff was attentive and friendly and knew their menu. Can’t wait to go back with more family and friends.
A quaint, intimate, family-owned Italian eatery. This was my first time eating here and it definitely goes on the top 10 list for date night. They have a simple yet sufficient wine list, good selection of appetizers and salads, and a great selection of entrees. I'm not kidding, Every. Single. Bite. Was delicious. Great find.
Ate here 2 nights in a row!! Wonderful food. Family atmosphere. Myra and joe make it taste and feel like Italy. Wife had the branzino special and loved it. I had the ravioli stuffed with sausage in a pink vodka sauce! Absolutely amazing! Highly recommend!!
This place is nestled in a mall type setting, has outdoor seating and cozy romantic indoor setting. The owner came around to chat w customers about their experience. Bar none, best italian around
What a great find. Food is fantastic. They were having trouble with the internet and while we waited they treated us to a slice of pizza. I ended up with spaghetti and meatballs but my husband ended up with another two pieces of pizza. So close to NY City vendors. Would highly recommend.
The service was great atmosphere was good. But if you like bland Italian food you’re gonna love this place personally I don’t so I will not go back. I like North Italia which is flavorful and spicy.
A small restaurant (about 10 tables/booths). Pleasant ambiance, white tablecloth. Pleasant, professional and attentive staff. Definitely secure a reservation. The four of us judged our experience good. Prices are overall moderate. The wine list is limited and we would've preferred more white selections. Prices on the high side with only a few in the $30's. Upon seating, we were served a soft bread. All of us prefer a crusted, artisan bread. There was a cup of olive oil with large hot peppers. None of us felt the very hot olive oil was a good option. My wife and I split Veal Marsala and the nightly special of Sea Bass. The kitchen was most accommodating and split our dinners. A very nice touch and appreciated. Sea Bass was very good in a lemon sauce. Veal was good but certainly not cut it with your fork. Our guests had Chicken Milanese and Piccata. Both felt the taste was good but the cutlet slightly chewy. We will probably not return for dinner but, if we did, believe we would option for some of the pasta selections. Based on the many most favorable reviews, we had a disappointing experience.
We had dinner with two friends and the service is outstanding. Everyone is very attentive. Food appetizer and main courses were very good. I would have given five stars if my food would have been hot. It was lukewarm. We will be back
I don’t know what the rave reviews are all about. We went to this restaurant based on the reviews, close location to our hotel and the self described killer patio. We had outdoor reservations and it was chilly outside. It’s our bad that we even stayed when we couldn’t be seated inside. The outside patio is not “killer”. There were no heaters, several tables are in the dark far from the one gas fireplace, no candles or lights, and it overlooks McDonalds. The waitress was nice but we didn’t know what was going on. Our food order wasn’t taken for over an hour, we didn’t get bread in that time either, and once we got food it was mediocre at best. There was no explanation or apology for the slowness. Maybe if someone would have shared some reason for the delays we could be more understanding. In light of the above, that our meal took over 2 hours in 50 degree weather and the price, I can’t give more than 1 star. I wouldn’t recommend or go there again.
I’m sorry to say it was not a good experience. Reviews look pretty good, so it seems it must be an off night ?Service was dry, food was different. Bread was the best part. Really delicious and fresh. Rigatoni seemed ok, but the sauce was liquidy. Fettuccine Alfredo not good at all, even the chicken wasn’t good. However our server was kind enough to try and make it right, so that’s a plus.Very dark inside in the evening-guess it’s good if you’re looking for a romantic dinner. I doubt I’ll be back. But you might have a better experience, so don’t be shy, give it a try and post your review!
