AA club in terminal B (Phoenix Airport), by far needs major improvements and training for staff. Upon entry the rep at the desk requested an additional AA card. Stating that we had too many adults in our party. We corrected her by informing her that two individuals in our party were minors. The staffer replied oh sorry they look like adults. One they did not look like adults. They look like teen girls 16/17. AA should try training staff on making inquiries, first. Instead of assuming and making an a** out of themselves. After entry I noticed that we were the only African American family in the club. I don’t play the race card, but it made me wonder if that was an attempt to keep us out of the lounge. Onto other areas where AA failed. The club is outdated and could use a renovation. The bathroom could have been cleaner and contain more lighting. The food appeared old and picked through. The coffee machine was out of order. I inquired on getting hot water for tea and the staffer said she could get it out of the spigot. What a horrible suggestion as a remedy to get hot water for tea. AA definitely failed here and corporate will hear about this.
The staff were super nice and wonderful! However the entire space was extremely packed and cramped. The bathrooms could have used some touching up as well. The green peas being served should have also went in the trash instead of being served as some were not fresh.
Very busy when I visited on my return flight from HNL!Comfortable seating with lots of natural lighting. It is standard food served in any other clubs, replenished frequently and cleaning. They come to clean your table frequently to keep seating area nice and comfortable!
Near gate B3, it’s a very small lounge but has great views on the airplanes and runway outside. Good food selection and a circular bar with a large variety of drinks.Seating is ample and very cozy.Bathrooms aren’t great and are very small.
The server/bartender was good, and as was the person making fresh guacamole, but not too much else to take home otherwise.I went on a Friday afternoon, and the place was crowded with barely room to sit. I sat at the bar and ordered some food...which was poor to put it mildly.Decent drinks with an upcharge, poor food offering at the self-service bar...so, a mixed experience.I think a 3 star is somewhat on the high side but the employees working deserve it.
Nice lounge, a little cramped. The food options are decent and will hopefully continue to improve as the pandemic lightens. The staff is really nice and helpful.
It's nice, but the club by gate B4 is very small, and there are no areas for privacy to make phone calls. Bar is very good and great service. Snacks are limited but taste.
One of three, this location is near Gate A7. It’s on par with what I expect of the lounges. Same food on buffet style is available. Bartender. Restroom spotlessly clean as always. Worth it if one travels frequently.
Totally worth a day visit! It’s really awesome to be able to enjoy a lounge and not feel like somebody is crowding you! Bartenders super awesome and the front desk ladies are amazing! If you happen to go here be kind to people is all I ask! Especially the front desk people it’s not their fault that the airlines are having problems and this is a great place to relax and get away from it for just a bit while you wait for your next flight
Admirals Club of Phoenix: I have a $116 charge on my CC for a $16 cost. Can someone contact me to course correct? I’m appalled that this is an issue that members have to deal with. Thanks!
