Cannot be happier! The food is sooooo delicious that I couldn’t stop eating! The owner is so nice too! Definitely highly recommended and I’ll be back again :)!
Wonderful place, great atmosphere! I had the split pea which was very good. It was a tiny bit spicy, but I'm a sissy about that kind of stuff anyway. Couldn't get it five stars because sometimes they open an hour or two after the posted hours but worth every penny!
Soooo amazing!!! Great food, great atmosphere, and authentic as it comes! Our Ethiopian friend took us here, and it was such a beautiful blessing to have him share his food and culture with us. He had high praise for the whole experience. I’ll definitely be back soon! Thank you all so much!!
Food is nice. I got my በየአይነቱ (vegetable combo) really delicious. This restaurant food is the best in the valley next to Lalibela of Tempe. However mostly it's empty. Few times I have to wait for several minutes to get a person who take order (looks like they don't have waiters most of the time). They don't serve Kitfo my favorite meat dish too
I've only had the yellow rice with chicken which is fantastic. The staff is friendly and respectful BUT....Had to take away one star for never answering the phone or being open even though the website says open. I have made several 30-minute trips to only arrive and find they are closed. Gas is just too high for that!!! Thank God the Jamaican place is always open next door and the food never disappoints or it would be a total waste of gas. WHEN THEY ARE OPEN IT IS WORTH EVERY PENNY
This place has AMAZING food!! I got the lunch special (I think $7.99) and I was extremely pleased! I got to choose 3 dishes to go with injera flatbread and portions are big. Izzy served me, she was so friendly and kind! She is from Ethiopia and makes the food herself. They serve authentic Ethiopian food — it’s not altered for us Americans at all, as Izzy told me herself. I will be recommending to others and coming back for more!Don’t be scared off by the strange appearance of Ethiopian food. I know it looks different! Pictures don’t do it justice(especially not mine). Their food is so homey, yet different! New flavors and warm spices.
Great family owned Ethiopian business. I'm a very picky eater, but I love there food. My girlfriend loves there food too. She always feel like she's back at home in Ethiopia when we eat there. Thanks again!
Great food, our waiter explained the menu as it was our first time thereSmall cozy place with beautiful decor
Edit: Bumped up to 5 stars. The extra charge was refunded two days after we ate thereVery good food and sweet lady who was serving us but DON’T PAY BY CARD. I paid by card and they charged me $7.50 extra than the amount listed on my receipt (that included tip and taxes). They will not pick up the phone now so I can inquire into it.
Dirty little hole in the wall could use a good CLEANING! very dingy € dirty. Greasy front door and € windows € mirrors not washed in MONTHS.Food disappointing. Cold sticky injera bread and tasteless veggies served cold. UGH. Ridiculous dump
