The food presentation was very good and delicious. There is a young girl, her name skips me at the moment, but her service and attention to detail was 5 stars. If they had more like her working in the food industry, I could certainly say there is light at the other end of the tunnel. Her work ethics were clearly demonstrated and she took pride in her work. Good job!
Overall id rate rubios 4 or 5. I eat here about 5 times a year. The low rating is for today's service only at this location. Forgot the limes that come with the fish tacos, I thought you forgot white sauce on said tacos but I guess it was just a REALLY light amount (searched 2nd taco to find trace amount). Got the salad we ordered wrong (but right on recite) which ruined my meal because now I had to listen to the ol' lady whining but my tacos were not as good as usual because of reasons stated above...... ill be going to the location on 59th next visit.
I was enjoying my fish tacos until the couple sitting next to me found a cacarouch on their drink.Not just that management wasn't saying anything to anyone until i asked them what happened then i began questioning management.Shame on rubios.
The last 4 orders we have placed have been wrong. From forgetting whole items to forgetting sides, forgetting cheese, forgetting drinks. Wrong tortillas being used. Stale chips, tough chicken..... the quality of food and service has gone drastically down hill at this location.The pictures are to show the amount of chips we were given..... just sad. And then you see the kids chicken "strip" meal..... no strips, just 5 pieces of "chicken" two of these pieces were just breading with no chicken. This place is pathetic.
Unacceptable, how come Rubio's can't get my order correct? Not just this location, but all locations. I order a lot from Rubio's and if I ordered 10 times they might get it right 3 times. I really hope they can fix this challenge.
Staff is rather rude and full of attitude. I’d imagine if the effort used for the attitude was redirected to work, the service would be more timely and orders would be correct.
Ordered 2 taco bars, a taquito platter and a quesadilla platter to serve about 20 people for my mom's 60th birthday. Picked up the order, asked if I had everything, was told yes, got home and didn't have the meat trays for the taco bar. Called and sent my daughter in law back for the meat because I already had guests showing up. They literally gave her bowls of steak and chicken, which was correct, but the trays also have beans and rice on them. When I called back the manager I spoke to said I only mentioned I was missing the meat. Really?! I was so embarrassed, I had to open up cans of beans from the pantry and by the time we got to eat, everything was cold. Almost $400 on food that I didn't get all of and was cold because of the wait due to their errors. Never again!
I've been here a few times and have not been disappointed yet. The shrimp tacos are the best thing we've had although we did try the lobster when it was on special and it was just mediocre.IMHO, I think the Mexican corn street taco and Verde shrimp taco plates are the best thing on the menu. The ingredients are always fresh and the plates are a solid value. The beans act as a great dip for the chips!
I dont like the fact that they make delivery drivers fill my drink.I know restaurant employees have to wash their hands every 20 minutes, but those drivers don't and then they touch all over everything then fill my drink. Gross.
I ordered 2 fish tacos it was ( Taco Tuesday) the girl at the register said it didn’t start until 2:30, it was 2:15, I ask if the manager can over ride it so I don’t have to stand here for 15 mins, the girl told the manager he wants 2 fish tacos, she looks at me went to the register and said that will be $9.80, I didn’t know (Taco Tuesday) started at 2:30 . Good Customer Service
