We decided to stop for lunch based on TripAdvisor reviews and thank goodness you were all right. It was a Sunday and the place was super busy. We had to wait but happily it wasn't for long. There were three of us. I ordered the fish sandwich, my husband ordered the waffle breakfast and our friend ordered the Spanish omelette. My fish sandwich was perhaps the best one I've had in a long long time. The batter was very thin and crispy and I had two large pieces of fish that were impossible to fit on the bun. My husband thought his waffle was nice and crunchy on the outside but moist in the middle. Our friend is usually a very light eater but ate the entire omelette and said it was terrific. The service was good and the noise level was high. It made conversation difficult but the food was well worth it.
Food was good and also there was a short wait time. Service was amazing! Glad we found this place. Looks like they have a great breakfast menu and very affordable! We definitely will frequent this place.
Have been coming to Mercers since 1993. Have always been satisfied with any meal whether dine in or take out. Great service, many employees have been there for many years. Great value, great portions and it's good home cooking. Pot pie and coconut shrimp are some of my favorites.
Amazing breakfast! This little diner might not look like much, but don’t let that keep you from coming in and enjoying some delicious food! Food was full of flavor and large portions for a reasonable price. The service is alway great and staff is super friendly. Our eggs were cooked perfect and the Cowboy bacon was outstanding! They also have delicious all you can eat fish fry on Tuesday and Friday.
Amazing place! We went there for first time and food is heavenly deliciousness and homemade food. We definitely going there again soon.The waitress is super nice and attentive. We are super happy! Mercer get my FIVE PLUS STARS!
This was our first time dining in Mercer's. The food is home cooking style, tasty, plentiful, not fancy and not expensive. Service was remarkably fast considering that nearly all the tables were filled when we arrived. I recommend getting there a little early to avoid the wait we witnessed after 5PM.
Food was delicious and the staff were super friendly. We were trying to find a breakfast place that’s didn’t have a huge line. Our grandparents told us about this place cause it was near by from visiting the grandparents. Atmosphere is different than what we’re use to since we’re a young family but I’m so glad we came. Loved everything about this place!
My mom lives in Sun City and this us the 1/2 point for us to meet. Oh darn! We love Mercers! The staff here is amazing! We go there not only for the yummy food but the great service. They make you feel like family!
Best Mom and Pop eatery in town. Made from scratch chicken pot pie was very delicious. Omelet was loaded with meats and cooked to perfection. Nothing extra fancy about the place, just extra delicious! Servers always friendly and helpful. BTW- doesn't matter when you get hungry 'cuz the parking lot is always full of very satisfied frequent customers!
Fairly popular and busy place. Only second time here. Reasonable prices - coffee $2.59. Staff cordial and attentive. Apparently No WiFi at the present time. Large facility with tables and booths. Bathrooms somewhat small and dated. Room lighting could be brighter. The biggest negative with this cafe is the old, dilapidated strip mall that it is located in. I would still recommend this cafe even though I would not order the corn beef hash again.
