We tried to love this restaurant, typically huge tequila and Mexican food fans. However this place is terrible from the drinks, to food and last but not least the service. The first time:The food was also terrible. I got the fish tacos and they tasted like the restaurant reheated fish sticks and add them to the tortilla… but then serviced the food cold. The margarita was flat out terrible. I was sitting at the bar and still the service was awful! Which on my opinion was an issue since the restaurant was not busy and I was the only one at the bar.The second time:The first drink was the “comfortably numb”. This drink was not balanced from the acid/tartness. The waitress said they just didn’t add simple syrup because they were out? I ended up getting agave and adding it myself.I ordered the shrimp enchiladas, which were okay at best. The meal was mostly cheese with only a few shrimp. The kick was my food was just flat out not made, everyone else got there food 15 minutes before me. I didn’t mind the wait. The issue came from the waitress never checking on us.
Good atmosphere, awesome server and staff, just a little disappointed with the dish I ordered. I was looking for something fresh and light, so I ordered the tequila lime shrimp taco. Unfortunately when I got my plate it really didn't have great presentation, the tortillas were drenched in grease from what I am assuming was the shrimp... I'm thinking the shrimp was kept in a very oily mixture and not drained when put in the tacos. The cheese melted into blobs throughout. What had great potential fell flat, coated in grease. Hoping to go back another time and see if their other dishes are better. Highly recommend the Jalepeno Marg!
For everyone out there going through relationship problem, I recommend you talk to this great spell caster Dr Aluya,I am a living witness of his powerful spell. His spell is ever potent. His spell helped me a great deal, he said he would help me cast a spell to bring back my ex boyfriend and he actually did. Am finally married to the man of my dream now and we are expecting our first baby. Enough respect +2348110493039 or email: [email protected]
This place could always get my money. I’ve definitely found one of the best Mexican Restaurants in the area. Ironically I ran into a woman manager while sitting at the bar who in fact was very knowledgeable on the liquor’s they sell. Ended up trying the Afamado (that she recommended), which now has by far become my favorite tequila. I ordered the shrimp fajita’s. All I can say is this place is great in customer service, hospitality and the food is magnificent! I will be returning a lot more. Thanks for the service Jalapeño Inferno ?
When you first walk in the ambiance doesn't reflect Mexican. You would not know you were in a Mexican restaurant. The prices are around $17+ and there is a kids menu. Chips and salsa are served while you look over the menu. I have been here before and wasn't impressed but thought I would give it another chance. Still very disappointed in the food. The food comes out super fast and the plates were burning hot, I mean like they absorbed heat. The staff does warn you that the plate is hot and when I tried to move it with my napkin my finger must not have been all the way on the napkin and I burned the tip of my finger. We had a toddler at the table and this is very well a safety hazard. The speed, lack of flavor and the extremely hot plate leads you to conclude the food is cooked by chef Mike(microwave). I would recommend another Mexican restaurant if in the mood. Also on another note we paid for their "hot"sauce and it wasn't hot.
We had a larger group, 10 for a birthday celebration and we were seated out on the patio on a Monday night. The hostess let us know they had 2 servers for the whole restaurant. Which we understood and expected slow service. We tried ordering drinks and they were out of a lot of mixers so settled on some margaritas. We love their chips and salsa but no refills because no wait staff. Our food came out, everything was good a first then found a long hair in one dish, disgusting. The kids meals were good but really thirty since they had small drinks and no refills came.We were all really disappointed at this location.Scottsdale location is very good, we'll go there next time.
Staff was friendly, attentive and the food was very tasty. I had a decent experience here a while back for a quick lunch, but the experience was much better this time around and for a dinner with lots of friends to celebrate a special occasion. Simple recommendation is to work on the shade screen on the patio, since it got drenched from the misters and caused water to pool on the floor, safety concern of course. Recommendation is to extend the shade screen farther out, to avoid that scenario.
Where to start….WOW, AMAZING, Great food. I don’t know what’s on that salsa verde but it kicked my a$$, too spicy for me to eat much of it.
Great lunch special. Love the flour tortilla chips. Could not have had better service from alexxis, Joel and Austin. They were very personable and attentive even though the restraunt was very busy. First time diners here but definitely will be back.
Had to try this place and was very disappointed. The food was OK but I had way better elsewhere. Service sucked. Three different people asked us for drinks and food order. Very unorganized this day. I hate to say we will not be back.
