Early dinner today. The California salad was super fresh. Huge chunks of soft chicken breast. Not too much dressing. The fried zucchini were thick not soggy, with a light crunchy crust. I had a bite of chicken jack burger that my husband ordered. Delicious! Service was great.
Started with morning on Pipeline Canyon Trail and a couple others. Stopped here before heading back for some lake time. Definitely Worth It! Fruity Pebbles French toast was fantastic. Highly recommend.
We got to the restaurant at about 7pm with 7 people and they were a little short staffed. They didn't skip a beat in taking care of us. The brisket was the hands down favorite entree followed by the pulled pork and the French dip. I'm not a huge fan of barbecue so I ordered the salmon on a bed of sauteed spinach with tomatoes, onions and fennel. It was perfectly cooked and delicious. I was going to save half for lunch and ended up eating every last bite! We're only in the area a few days and hope to go back before we leave!
The food was Ok and the servers seemed like they were struggling. Menu has been reduced since covid. I will give them another try.
Went with friends twice to this venue - once for lunch the other for breakfast. Breakfast was out of this world excellent. Had the Chicken Fried Steak - absolutely delish. Of course certainly not a diet plate as evidence by the pic. Will definitely be returning for another visit!!!
The atmosphere was like a sports bar. I remember this place being advertised during Spring training. We were seated quickly and our drink order taken. I ordered a French dip sandwich-- juicy and tasty with Crisp fries. My husband chose the Arizona burger-- green chilies, cooked onions and pepper jack cheese-- yummy! Our daughter enjoyed her brisket sandwich with fries.
My family and I really enjoyed Haymaker. The food was yummy and the staff was very friendly. The best part is that kids eat free on Wednesdays!
Place looks small from the outside, but it's pretty big. The bar area not so big but ample space. The menu has a variety of plates from breakfast to dinner. Lots of favorites.Military friendly. 20% off food.
Haymaker never disappoints! Every Sunday my son and I have a father-son breakfast. Today we chose Haymaker in Peoria. He had the Haymaker Benedict and I had the California Omelette. Both plates were amazing - no complaints. The Haymaker Benedict provided enough food for a college football player (my son)) who didn’t walk away hungry! We were able to get right in with no wait as we chose to sit at one of the high tops in the bar. Our server was amazing, prompt and we did not go without. Would highly recommend!
Very friendly staff. The food is really good. It has a robust breakfast menu compared to some other restaurants. I really like that they give a 20% military discount. They seem to really have support for the troops, all over there walls.
