Firebirds is one of our Local favorites. Glad to see them bounce back from pandemic with minimal changes. Great food, drinks and service. Make a reservation today!
My son and I ordered the 16 oz. ribeye steak medium rare and the steaks were fatty and gristly and extremely tough. Out of 16 oz. I probably left 10+ oz. on the plate. My son was able to eat about 10 oz. My wife ordered the filet and shrimp special which, she said, tasted pretty good for the most part. Our waited was very courteous and asked us a couple of times how everything was and we said fine - I'm sure he would have asked us if there was anything else we wanted and maybe taken our steaks off of the bill, but I just let it slide. However, I would have thought when he removed our plated he would have noticed more there was a pile of fat and gristle left on the plate, but he didn't. We have been in the Phoenix area for over four years and have eaten at Firebirds a number of times and have noticed the quality has gone downhill in the past year or so while the prices have increased quite a bit. I think we'll be dining elsewhere.
A little disappointed in the food... I had a sirloin and it said it came with garlic butter way to much and was full of salt. Service was good with the amount of customers. The main part of the restaurant was extremely warm you could not enjoy yourself...
We came here to celebrate my Dadâs 70th birthday. It was really busy, so Iâm glad we had reservations (I overheard them say it was ~90 minute wait without reservations!). I was concerned that service would be extra slow because they were so busy but it was not! Our server was very attentive. Appetizers, meal, then birthday dessert were all spaced apart just right, allowing us to enjoy each course as well as each otherâs company.
The lobster fondue salmon was delicious and cooked perfectly. The filet was a tab below medium rare which made portions of it not cooked enough to consume. Rachel our server was beyond fantastic and is a great example on how are server should attend to their customers.
Celebrating a friends birthday! We always choose Firebirds. Itâs always delicious! Great service and great food!
I have eaten here plenty of times and had an occasion where service may not be top notch but this was terrible. I had to basically serve my family and I mean stop the waitress each time. Can we order some drinks, they come out and she is gone, stop her can we order appetizers and it went like that all the way through dessert. She was friendly, but not relaxing. She didn't even follow up to see how are meals were which we wanted to return our cold salmon and filet w/ shrimp.
unfortunately the accoustics are terrible. It is very difficult to carry on a conversation with other people at the table. It is the only drawback of the restaurant.
