We're visiting from Washington State where we don't have a Culver's so thought we'd try it out. First of all, I've never had service like this at ANY fast food place. Totally unexpected, I was pretty impressed. Second we had the make-your-own butterburgers with a side of cheese curds, delish! But there's a lot of other food to choose from, I'd recommend googling the menu beforehand, we stood there trying to decide for quite a while. Lastly, the custard is amazing and you can have it any way you want: sundaes, concrete mixers (like a DQ blizzard), cones, cups, shakes and so many toppings that you can mix and match for a totally different dessert everytime. Seriously, this place has something for everyone.
Man, I love Culver's! For a fast food burger joint with a drive thru, their food is always hot and fresh and stuff actually looks like the pictures on the menu instead of some mangled slop that you get from other fast food places. Cheese curds make a good keto option over French fries although I have not had anything disappointing off the Culver's menu. If I'm looking to get a fast food meal and I'm on an intersection with McD's, BK, J in Box, Wendy and Culver's, I'm going to Culver's 100% of the time.
Two weeks ago We went through the drive through and ordered one cod meal/dinner with two pieces of cod, fries, and coleslaw, and one cod meal/dinner with 4 pieces of cod, fries and coleslaw. One large diet Pepsi, one large diet root beer, and one large cookie-dough mixer. When we got home, we found only five pieces of fish and cold fries packaged in little thin cardboard boxes . One piece of fish and some fries in three boxes, and two pieces of fish in another. More fries in yet another. There was the proper amount of coleslaw and tarter sauce. So we paid for 6 pieces of fish and received only five.We decided to give this location another try. This time we ordered two three piece cod meals/dinners with fries and coleslaw., along with large drinks and a large mixer. This time when we got home, the food was hot. We had the proper number of pieces of fish. But this time, we had a small bag with a plastic knife, a plastic fork, one coleslaw, and one tarter sauce. There should have been two of those. The employees at this location are always polite and kind, and share their smiles willingly. But we will not be returning to this location, because there seems to be mix-ups every time we visit. With the price of this food, we should be getting what we pay for.
Just stopped in for a malt. Hard to find a place that still makes malted drinks. Mine is a chocolate malt with extra malt (bc I want to taste the malt!) Culver's makes a pretty good malt. Not thick enough, but it is made with custard. 'Nuf said).
This location used to be great, but now the customer service is horrible. The young folks working there Sunday nights are disinterested and rude. They are behind the counter using profanities loudly, using the F word, saying hate words like “fa**ot” when talking to each other, just very distasteful and unprofessional. Luckily no children were there at the time but who knows if that would’ve stopped them from speaking that way. The fries looked and tasted old and re-fried, and the burgers were dry and not flavorful like they used to be. Avoid this location, there’s much better service and food at IN-N-Out up the road on Bell.
I just left there about 30mins ago and I was blown away by the amazing staff. There were a couple mix ups but seriously they could have dropped all my food and told me it would be another hour, and I’d still leave a 5 star review. I told them that I didn’t have any cash for a tip and one of them said “It doesn’t matter, that’s what I get paid to do”. Mind blowing! All Respectful and everyone smiling! I went across the street and grabbed $40 for a tip…. I walked in and holy smokes there were about 15 kids working there. I would have never have known or I would have tipped them all. Being 52 years old, i have seen kids over the years get more disrespectful and a show a total lack of care towards others. Great [email protected] - you picked the best! Thanks for making my year! :)
Sundae was supposed to be a large but they were skimpy on it. Burger looked thrown together and fries were hard. The best Culver's is on Grand in Surprise, always consistent and superb quality. This one I won't be going back to. I'll just travel to the Surprise location. It's worth it.
Great service! Food is always fresh. Really love the fries with a side of the Wisconsin cheese dip. Atmosphere is always relaxing.
Great for dine in or take out. Love the custard turtle - after the butter burger basket with onion rings of course.
We went through the drive through and ordered a cod meal and a shrimp meal. They were both very good and cooked just right.
