First time there. We had the Gluten Free crust on our pizza, all our favorite fixin's along with a salad.Everything was great! One thing, they don't have Blue Cheese dressing, just crumbles. That was good with balsamic dressing. They really need Blue Cheese!
What a novel concept! All the pizzas are really for one person. They're incredibly creative. I enjoyed the white pizza with a cauliflower crust which was awesome. I would say these are craft pizzas to go with craft beer there. It's an assembly line style and the team workers were very engaging and fun. Very reasonably priced. I hope this concept franchise itself. Been around a lot of places and have not seen that yet.
I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! Best pizza on the west side! Pricing per topping is a pretty penny but worth it. 10/10 recommend. Service is great, restaurant is clean, and variety of toppings/bruschetta is great.
Had a cheese pizza that did not taste cheesy. Tomato sauce used was tasteless. Dough was under cooked and too thick for a wood fired base. Very mediocre.Should have gone to papa John next door. At least they’re not trying to pretend being something they’re not.
If you have not tried Char, you would really enjoy. My wife, children, and I enjoy it very much. Cool patio, excellent pizza, and cool vibe. The buffalo chicken and Fig and prosciutto are AMAZEBALLS. Try it, it’s a great experience and one we look forward to every time. As a 28 year restaurant veteran and director of operations and former operating partner in several restaurant operations, I can attest that this operation has caring staff and they will take care of you! Try them out, they are awesome!
Wonderful service great staff. But they need to update there pizza recipes because their, Margherita pizza was a cheese pizza...... tomato basil mozzarella? Pretty simple ingredients guys. Look up a photo on Google and base it off that. An 8 year old has made better Margherita pizza. Nice people terrible chefs.
Solid pizza with a ton of options, great toppings, crust, and cheese. Really ticks all the boxes. Even got to drink a pitcher and watch some football while I was there. For the most unassuming place, inside it really exceeds expectations.
The free birthday pizzas are a "come on". We tried to use one and was told that the pizza's were already on special (Tuesday) and couldn't use it. We paid full price for the pizza, which didn't make sense. Free pizza is free pizza, right? There was no manager on shift to speak with. We went back two weeks later on another day (not Tues.) . With the promo code for the free pizza, the computer only took off "certain" amounts off of other items on our bill which didn't equate to the price of the pizza. The cashier didn't understand our concern and admitted she was no good at math and didn't have the authority to mend things. We asked to speak to the manager and there was none on shift. We left our phone # for the manager to call us and were promised a call. We never received that call and will go back to Char's. Just poor business. Also, paying for extra toppings is not worth it. The extras are very sparse.
What a pie! I went here on friday and the pie was cooked to perfection. You can really tell the oven guys know what they are doing. Despite the large crowd, the pizzas came out in quick fashion.
Great and fast pizza. Build your own had good options, but I went with the Meat Lovers. Great flavor and the crust was not as thin as most build your own pizza places, which is a big plus for me. Bruschetta choices look interesting and I'd like to go back to sample those as well as check out the bar. Overall this is a great spot for a quick serve meal without the fast food experience.
