The chips and salsa are super good- love them at this place! I had the chicken fajitas and was pleased with every part of it, I especially like how they sauté their onions and thin sliced bell pepper. The refried beans have a bit of spice in them, giving extra flavor. My friend had the quesadillas and enjoyed them as well. And Our service was great!
Pina margarita was a little sweet and could’ve had a little more heat, but overall was good. Can’t go wrong with a Blue Moon. The Grenada Guac was different and had good flavor. The rice and beans both had a good spicy kick in them, but not too much for most people. The Carne Asada looked and felt broiled but it held flavor well. Least favorite of the three. The grilled shrimp taco was good as well. The best taco was Al Pastor. The pickled onions really added the perfect amount of acidity. I wouldn’t drive too far out of my way, but this was a surprisingly good spot.
The food here is authentic Mexican and tasted fresh! We discovered that they serve many varieties of Salsa with the chips, our favorite salsa is the Pineapple Salsa. We tried the Fried Avocado Taco, Chicken Enchilada, Charred Avocado Taco and the Caramel Filled Churros. The servers were all cheerful and happy with super fast service. Overall very good experience and this one gets on the repeat list !
Wonderful new Mexican food restaurant! The service was great.The food was unbelievable from the chips & salsa to appetizers and the theMain dinner plate. It was fantastic!I had the smoked pablano stuffed pepper with barbacoa meet. It was wonderful.In fact it looked so good I just started eating it without taking a picture of the plate........so I took a picture of it half eaten!! ?Definitely look forward to going back & trying more dishes!!
From the friendly service at the hostess desk, to the great waitress and the amazingly tasty food it was an afternoon I would soon like to repeat! The flavors of the food are incredible. We had a variety of dishes. The salsa, refried beans and cheese sauces were so yummy-charred tomatoes add just the right amount of smoky flavor! They accommodated our request to split a salad bowl. I think you have to know what/how to order. If we had ordered 3 (small) street tacos at $5/each we would have been disappointed. We eat a lot of Mexican food and this has to be one of my all time favorites! A nice introduction to a new restaurant for me. Look forward to a repeat visit! Fun wall murals too!
We ate at the bar and had a terrific meal and great margaritas. The bartender Chris was incredibly helpful when we asked for suggestions, asking about our heat and taste preferences before recommending dishes. There were THREE different meatless street tacos available... as a vegan there are rarely that many choices available. It was happy hour so the house margaritas were on sale, but I actually preferred the jalapeño margarita. We'll definitely be back!

Went to the Cantina for the first time this evening. Our server Jodi was top notch !! The food was amazing, and the best part of all they have a large gluten free assortment on their menu for my girls. We can't wait to go and enjoy another meal there again !!!
Our first time in Cantina Gueros was a great suggestion by Cibola Vista Resort.The bartender Michael is awesome. Made me one of the best mojitos next to my husband's. His service was impeccable and has a great sense of humor. Food was great, customer service was the best.Definitely on our list for our next visit.Thank you
The menu is great but you gotta know where to go. Street tacos are an easy miss but the Barbacoa Burrito Gueros style is where it's at.
