Not sure what's been going on lately with the food but I've gotten sick the past two times I've been here. Bummer, used to really enjoy this place
One star is being generous, I put in an online order to pick the food up on my break. After getting back to work which is 25min away I found out they didn’t put everything in the nachos I ordered. I ended up with only shredded cheese and black beans. When I had ordered meat queso guacamole and rice. Since I was on break I couldn’t go back and the place it’s self is about 50 min from where I live. Their only options were to come back for a refund. Given how far away it was that’s not an option. I paid for 30$ worth of food and only got 15$ worth. It insane the lack of customer service that was there. Exspecally cause I paid and ordered online I don’t see how hard it is to just refund the card that was paid with online.
This place is dirty!!! All of the tables were dirty, staff watched me wipe my table off as they just stood there doing nothing. The floors were dirty, the outside of the trash area was disgusting. Food was okay not great too much money for the quality of the food.
For a quick lunch this place is a great option. I wasn’t Super hungry so the chips & queso was just right. Add in the spicy habanero salsa for a little kick ?
For a change, my server was great. Most of the time, you get servers who want to giv you very little meat, will huff and puff each time you say more cheese, and basically act like you're taking up their time. But today, my guy was pleasant, fair with qty of meat. And seemed pleased to put my meal together for me. I would deff visit with CafeRio more often if service was like this.
One of the worst culinary experiences I have ever had. First I wanted the burrito but the employee did not explain the menu. I wanted cold toppings in my burrito but they said they could not roll it if so. What burrito place cant roll their own burrito! The tacos were greasy and forgetful. The customer service was extremely lackadaisical. They charge extra for sour cream because of course they do. Unless you have literally never had Mexican food in your life before you should not go to this place or you will be so disappointed you realize your resentment of Care Rio starts creeping into other facets of your life. For a better burrito go to cafe rumba, the best burrito in the Glendale area. Also try chipotle, filbertos, or literally any place but this. Also my girlfreinds burrito had a hair in it... yuck! The menu is overpriced and pathetic. It took 15 minutes to get our order as the only people in line. I HATE Care Rio. poor. thumbs down. I would give it zero stars if I could.

Amazingly fresh and great tostada with red sauce! Plus horchata tasted homemade. Very clean and friendly staff. Great food !
We ate at the Peoria location. The food was okay but the dining room was filthy. Dirty tables, beans slopped all over the trash can, even the doors were dirty.
Not worth the price at all. The taco shells are nice and fresh and that's were it ends!! Hatch chile is sweet and gross ?.. the food station is a total mess no one has cleaned the place at all but it's all kids running the place zero manager that's clear price is to high as well... Run
