Such a wonderful experience! We chose to be seated in the regular indoor seating. They also offer Teppanyaki which looked great. Our order included some sake bombs, egg rolls, sushi, chicken friend rice, and sesame chicken. Not a single complaint! It was all delicious ? My partner had the Rainbow sushi which was fresh and well made. I enjoyed the egg rolls as an appetizer with leftovers to take home. My entree was chicken fried rice which was a decent serving with plenty to take home. My partner enjoy the sesame chicken which included broccoli. There was leftovers to take home. We also enjoyed some sake bombs, as is expected ?
Sat at the sushi counter at lunch. Sushi chef was very knowledgeable and hospitable. Fresh ingredients. Tons of options.
Have been to Zushi many times 1 of my favorite places to go while in Mesa. Check out the Murphy roll it's one of the best rolls on the menu
Very good quality and delicious sushi but a bit over priced for my taste, even at happy hour when we went. Tab was still over $140 for 2 people.
Empty at 1pm. Bartender very energetic, he was waiting on entire place. Food was good, menu prices were different from the price charged on bill !! Bill was 30% higher on each item avg, some were the same as the menu. When asked the bartender/ waiter told me and my brother and the new guests about to order that the owner had not updated the menu prices yet? He fixxed the bill, it went from $75.85 down to $55.90, we tipped him $11. Do not know what is going on there, fyi , 65 never experienced this before....
Its a decent enough place to eat. Suggest they turn the ceiling fans down...like eating outside on a windy day....blows everything around and makes your food and hot sake cold very quickly.
Ordered mostly sashimi and Nigiri, an a few rolls. Everything was high quality. The white yellowtail was exceptional.Spring rolls were crispy and good, tempura veggies were kinda greasy, but that's the nature of (deep fried) so no actual complaint.
We came for my Birthday and it was well worth it! Our Chef was Junee and he was AWSOME! His sense of humor fit in with my family just perfectly and we laughed all night! The food was cooked to perfection (and that's hard to do with steak and scallops) on a flattop grill... Definitely a good time and well will be back!
Waitress was friendly and polite. Bento box was thrown together (rice out of place in all boxes).Teriyaki sauce was missing the spice fennel, which is the reason I came here today. However, the overall taste was still very good... Salad was cold and crisp... Tempura sauce was good...salty but its suppose to be. Portion size was just the right amount to fill you and not put you to sleep. Overall service 4/5. Taste 4/5. Consistency in recipes (Teriyaki)3/5. Presentation 2/5.
Very good place for sushi on this side of town because their aren't many to choose from. My go to place (as well as Zugoi their sister restaurant). Sushi is always pretty good. Roll selection has variety. The service is great at the bar, decent at the dining tables depending on who you get. I've never done teppanyaki here. My favorite rolls are the Hurricane, Firecracker, Over the Rainbow and Street Fighter.
