Got there about 5 minutes until 2:00 and the first thing the lady did was look at the clock and say you know we close at 2:30. The lunch special fried chicken has been replaced with an egg roll and a fried wonton which were both very very good. Big drop soup was quite different but also very good. Both of our entrees were salty but also tasty. My wife is much more intolerant of salt so she would not say the same. All in all, in today's world of Chinese restaurants in Phoenix area it was pretty good. We're just advise requesting low salt when you order.
Worst Chinese restaurant in Mesa. Food and service was horrible. I told waiter that the ribs were tough and he mouthed off at me. Save your money, go somewhere else. After I complained they didn't even take any money off of the bill.
Everything was great exept fried rice tasted old and dry. Everything else perfect. Service amazing..
Food and service are always excellent.. Visit this place frequently and have never had a bad experience.
We (I and my wife) just returned from an excellent dinner at the Yen Ching (Mesa AZ). Starting with our fabulous Sweet & Sour soup , then following the awesome Kung Pao Chicken were just to die for. To the spicy food we drank our favourite beer, the Sapporo. The impeccable service was attentive, pleasant and professional, just right to put us at ease. Great family restaurant, highly satisfactory from all points of view - the best Chinese restaurant we ever eat at (and we know quite a few!). And all that at a most reasonable price for rather generous portions! We shall return soon.
The food was very good and prices were reasonable. Location not great. Also they had no drinks on the menu. I would probably go back.
Much of the food was Luke warm when served. Their sweet and sour pork, had very little taste. The pieces were so big you had to cut them, but no knife. Yea served was just warm,
Our family has been eating here for at least 20 years now. It’s by far our favorite Chinese restaurant in AZ. The restaurant may be due for an update but the food and service here is consistently really good.
Restaurant very clean. Nice atmosphere. Food was served hot. Generous portions. Friendly server and quick to get our meals. My husband said his Mongolian beef was very good. I had the garlic chicken which was also good.
Went Christmas eve for the first time. Crab puffs were all cream cheese, zero crab. Fried rice at 2$ extra was old, no peas or carrots or fried egg, just plain bad. Chicken dish said it was white meat but was all dark and dry. Very little meat and vegies in the other two dishes. Very disappointing for $75 dollars. Also the service wasn't great but I was wondering if someone called in. We won't give them another try.
