Came in with a party of 8 and our server Howie was more than accommodating. The service alone was 10/10 and he was very polite, patient, and helpful when we didn't know what to order. We got some complimentary barley tea and it was super tasty! Definitely try it.I ordered the beef soft tofu soup combo with beef bulgolgi. It's a lot of food! If I hadn't gone to the gym before dinner I don't think I could finish it all. The soup is super tasty and the bulgolgi is the right amount of sweet. The prices are a little steep compared to other places but I think the quality of the house-made tofu definitely justifies it.
Came on the first day they opened and am still coming because their food and service are so good! Their tofu is made in house and delicious. I especially love how they cook their rice in the dolsot (stone pot). That extra effort makes their rice taste even better!
What a little treasure, the food was really yummy bit more than the food absolutely treasure in Gio our personal chef lol. Kids being vegetarian we usually have very less option especially in a Korean restaurant but here they had so many options. Loved their mung bean pancake n their fresh made tofu starters. My son ate their tofu a lot. Their hotpot was HOT n yummy.
It was our 2nd time here. Unfortunately, the owner has very stupid waiters and servers who are extremely slow and unable to communicate clearly. They were kind though. One advice for the restaurant, tell the customers where they can find the menu. Just putting a small QR code doesn’t mean you(the restaurant) are cool. The restaurant should indicate that the QR code is the menu or tell the costumer. I liked the food but I would not come here again. Hey, the owner, my advice for you. Educate your employee better. The food is NOT everything for running a restaurant.
The fried tofu appetizer was fantastic, but the rest was just fine. I got the bulgogi and dumpling soft tofu soup combo: The bulgogi could've used a lot more flavor and the soup was just okay. The banchan was just okay as well. However, service was great and the place was clean.
Absolutely delicious and the sweetest service. Loved everything about it. It seemed very clean and everyone who worked there seemed very kind.
New Korean restaurant in town. They make their own tofu, which is unique. We enjoyed the complimentary side dushes. The Kimchi Pork Belly Tofu dish, was tasty. It featured the house tofu, which went well with the Kimchi. The only down side is the amount of pork belly, which seemed a bit light proportionally. We also got the brisket combo with oyster tofu soup. The brisket was delightful and the soup was good. The oyster flavor is very strong, so I would only recommend it for those who really like oysters. Overall, the food was good. A little pricey though.
The food here was absolutely delicious. I had the spicy pork tofu hot pot, and I wish I had five more stomachs so I could eat continuously. The restaurant has a very nice, clean atmosphere, and there is a video featuring how tofu is made which was very informative. I forgot to ask if they make their tofu is on-site, but it tasted so refreshing that I'm almost positive they do!
Food is ok however service is very poor. Restaurant was not busy however had to wait several minutes and call server for a table. The staff forgot to bring out specific food items and overall mood of staff is "I guess I'm here".By far not the highest customer service you will ever get and do not recommend.
My family of 5 (two adults and three kids under 8) went here yesterday and the food was phenomenal! The restaurant is tucked away on Main & Dobson in the Safeway area so not a lot of traffic or exposure since nobody wants to travel down Main because of the light rail. We wanted to try it out and we were super impressed by everything. The layout of the restaurant is attractive and cozy, you kind of get your own little section and not open to everyone else in the restaurant. We ordered the seafood hotpot and enjoyed it a lot, plentiful of ingredients and reasonable priced, the broth is very satisfying to sip on and has that special umami taste that I can’t quite explain. Definitely worth a visit, go check them out and support them!
