Not a huge fan of the craft beers but was impressed with the selections here! They make a terrific mule! Give it a try. They can’t find a cook so very limited food menu. Music Bingo was a ton of fun!
High turn over rate for bartenders always a new face behind the bar, kitchen always closed always only one person manning the whole place. If there’s more than 7 people be prepared to wait. Whole vibe is off used to play good music now it’s rap country?? Came a few times to watch the game they have 10 tvs and had to ask if they can play the suns game on at least one tv. Not sure if it will be coming here any time soon
It's inevitable that you'll find a place that looks great from the outside, but fails to live up to the hype. As you sit and wait a while for the server to bring menus, and then try to order only to be told ingredients for half the menu aren't available, and then get the wrong order, and then receive beer in a dirty glass (which is noticeable from foam sticking to the sides), and finally are given sad tacos that are underfilled and flat bread that is equivalent to what you can assemble at home - all while listening to conversations that reveal a lack of management and poor customer service (including using a credit card from someone who isn't currently there that a customer claims to know) - you find yourself thinking, "Is this the worst bar/restaurant I've ever been to?"
Definitely not impressed, now it could have been the time is day, but we left thinking how this was a wasted opportunity. Being a fan of taprooms, bottle shops, and craft beer this place has a lot potential. Service was below average, whoever was their cook was either new or inexperienced. It was, as if, they only had an area to cook one dish at a time. Each item was brought out individually at separate times and if the first person waited until everyone got their food, their food would have been cold. I decided to try their Huss Brewery Lo Lo IPA and all I could think was how much better their can version was. Either it was an old keg or dirty lines. To top it off, their food was below average, the only thing that my wife's sandwich had correct was the ham. It was supposed to be served in a brioche bread with an artisan spring mix and a crisp granny Smith apple that were definitely missing. Based on this experience I don't see myself returning. A lot of potential though...
I can not believe how terrible this place is - the service was awful, we waited 15 minutes to even have the waitress come by so we could order our drinks / food, waitress did not bring water, food was stale and they were out of half the menu.... then when we decided to pay and leave we waited 45 minutes and the server STILL did not return to check on us once. Finally we all got up from our table and stood inside (still trying to pay because we're not a**holes) and waited another 10 minutes for BOTH of the servers to come out of the kitchen. We could have walked out and they would not have realized for another 30 minutes! There was only 5 people in the building and my party accounted for 3 of them. Will not ever be returning. Their behavior is unacceptable. You should not be working at a bar or restaurant if you do not desire working with people!
A pleasant environment. Kinda tucked away in Riverview. Good treats and more beers and alcoholic beverages than I can count.
Brass Tap is a great place to play trivia, musical bingo, enjoy craft beers and hang out with amazingly friendly bartenders!!
I never leave reviews but felt I just had to with this experience. It was Saint Patty’s day and my bf and I went to have a beer after very stressful days at work. The bar wasn’t even busy yet we sat there for over 10 minutes waiting to even be acknowledged. We finally were and were told we’d be served momentarily. 5 more minutes go by and the female bartender who said she’d be right with us, did everything she could BUT serve us. She ran some food from the kitchen, offered up a burger to everyone in the bar that wasn’t eaten by a previous patron, had conversations with a co-worker and even began asking existing patrons if they needed anything additional. A man literally told her “I’m already being helped” and she then proceeded to strike up a conversation with him. So we got up to leave and as we get to the door she says in a very snarky tone “have a great night”! I felt so disrespected I couldn’t even believe she had the audacity to act that way. Needless to say, I’m never going to the brass tap again. Thanks a lot lady.
short staffed, loud obnoxious drunken patrons. Kitchen out of tortilla chips, Walmart across the parking lot though . No nacho's
Great selection of beer, and real friendly people.
