I've been here 4 times thinking each time was going to be a better experience. This review will be based on this last visit today 8/9/22. I was the only car in the drive thru and only 2 cars parked out front. The girl asked for a minute before taking my order, this minute turned into 10 minutes. I placed my order, ceviche tostada $6.99, birria fries $12.99 and the 3 taco plate combo $9.99. I went to the window and she told me the total was $53. I asked her to repeat the order to which she stated i ordered 3 taco plates, I had to tell her twice it was just 1 order of the 3 taco plate combo. This made her mad, she closed the window and yelled something then came back to me and told me i ordered 3 plates not 1. I assured her it was just 1 order of the 3 taco combo as listed on the menu out front. She gave me an attitude and changed the price to reflect only 1 order. I asked for her manager and she said she was the only person working and that the order would take another 15 minutes. She walked away and 2 other guys came out to look at me through the window. I saw her a few more times laughing and on her phone. She finally gave me my order after 17 minutes waiting at the window. Still the only car there. I got home and my birria fries had no toppings. Just stale cold dark brown fries with the meat. No onions, cilantro, sour cream, guac or pico. I don't live too far but driving back to get the order fixed with this person who was rude and uneducated with the menu was definitely not a thing i wanted to do. She must've been around 19 years old or so, very long nails, bushy long eyelashes static dark hair with highlights. This wasn't my first run in with her but this time was definitely the last.

When I approach the restaurant, the restaurant was clean outside. I walked through the door and I noticed several people eating inside. I liked the clean fresh look of the dining area and the kitchen view. The lady behind the counter was very nice attentive and answered any questions I had. (Recently I've been going to filibertos and found their asada to be chewy, french fries soft and their guacamole tasting less than fresh). All of those negative words are about filibertos. Tacos Lupe answered my questions about their fresh horchata and their fresh lemonade. I ordered my food to go. When I arrived at my destination and I began eating my ordered meal. I noticed the french fries tasted good little bit crispy which I enjoy. The asada taste really fresh and tasty. (One of the things I'd complained about at filibertos was how less than fresh guacamole taste). I find the guacamole at Tacos Lupe to taste as if it was made recently like in the past couple hours. Sour cream and cheese is flavorful. I began using the red sauce and found it to be a good heat not over hot for the tongue. Yet with a nice spice. I will go back to Tacos lupe's again. I must have a large of their lemonade.

The food here is 10/10! The carne asada taco and birria are a must!

Delicious, simple, bright flavors. We loved our lunch. Perfect quick stop off the 10. 100% better than fast food!

Some of the best tacos. I like how the cook the cheese into the shells. My son really liked the salsa that they bring to the table. They just got there liquor license. The Sandia drink is really good. They don't have a soda machine only bottles or cans they will give you a cup if you ask.

Stopped to grab some tacos today. The place was decently busy it seemed, and had good food. Chips and salsa they started with were tasty. Chips weren't oily and salsa was tasty, not spicy. Tried carne asada and cabeza tacos. Overall tasty, but tortillas were pretty wet. Flavors were solid though and I would go back.

This place is a great place to get some good food. Our first time here was a pleasant surprise. The waitress was super friendly and the food was delicious. My wife ordered the Birria fries and they were so good! I had the lengua torta and may I say it was the best torta I've had in quite some time. I definitely will be back sooner than later.

Was excited to try this place since there’s a good amount of positive reviews. But sadly was extremely disappointed. Even drove home crying because I just had spent $51 for food that wasn’t edible. And left hungry. The tacos were very greasy, had to use a napkin to take some of the oil off. The French fries that came with my kids meal were drowned in salt. I ordered chilaquiles, literally took two bites and that was all I could eat. The chicken was very old. Clearly it had been reheated multiple times at that point. They used chips for the chilaquiles. They were so salted and then the sauce was salted. So it felt like I had just poured salt into my mouth. Will not be back.Would of taken pictures of my food to show how terrible it looked but was so upset and trying to not cry about how terrible and waste of money it was.

I'm a grubhub driver, and I had an oreder to puck up there at 3 in the afternoon. Normal lunch time. There were people eating outside. Door was locked. So I tried the drive through. An automated message said they were closed.. how could you close when your obviously serving customers, and you have a grubhub order in you system? It hurt my grubhub record. And 20 minutes of driving and gas wasted.

Around $14 for this small plate! They couldn't even fill it with rice, . How shameful!! This is a big rip off for the chipotle shrimp. You can barely see any shrimp in there.
