I’ve been coming here for years. Every menu item is good, the portions are generous and the service is exceptional. Since covid you have had the dine-in portion of your restaurant closed. I am happy you made it through such a tough time and I have been very grateful to still be able to eat such tasty sushi. With that being said I now drive from Phoenix and would like to sit and eat the amazing sushi you serve at your restaurant. I don’t need dine in service, just a place to sit and eat other than in my car or have to wait the 30min drive home.
Tonight was my first experience with Sushi Stop. If you LOVE Sushi!!! This is the place to go!! The rolls here are 3x the size of your typical sushi roll. They are the size of a burrito. No lie!!! The Staff was extremely polite and grateful. I have now found my new favorite sushi place. I highly recommend Sushi Stop!!!This truly is a legit post!!
Love this place! Location was a bit off putting- in a strip mall next to a Goodwill- but it is the best sushi we have found in the valley! Huge portions, good cost, and wonderful owners. Definitely our go to place! No dine in options since Covid started, but Take out is quick and easy.
Absolutely addicted to their special called the~♡Arizona Cardinal Special.♡ Every bite bursting with flavor, everything cooked just right! The perfect amount of sweet with a little spicy in each bite! And oh my the little fried salmon on the side with kawaii widdle flower! Where has this been all my life? I'm sad it's only a special. I wish it was here for the long haul. Girl on phone said they do plan to keep it until February. They don't have a stop date yet. Please make it a part of your menu. ???????
Great little Japanese restaurant, unfortunately it is takeout only but food is unbelievable! Extremely tasty and for $15 it was enough to feed two people. I got the number 42 regular udon and four pieces of spicy tuna roll, Way too much to eat by myself!?
Fantastic, fresh and really flavorful! Owners are really nice. Specialty rolls were massive, regular rolls were easier to eat. Definitely a go-to spot now!
Delicious food, very generous servings and reasonably priced! The curry udon has a rich broth, and thick chewy noodles. Crunchy roll was girthy af.
This is the best Sushi in Mesa for sure. And the staff super friendly. I highly recommend this place they never disappoint.
Man I thought people were exaggerating about the portion sizes. These rolls are comically large... Each individual piece takes about 4-5 bites to eat. I ordered one of their specialty rolls for lunch and couldn't even finish it. Normally I'd be pretty sus about the quality with portion sizes that large, but it's very high quality. On par with a lot of the higher end sushi places in the valley, but at a fraction of the cost. The owners are very friendly and so welcoming. You can tell a lot of care goes into the food they prepare. Excited to try the rest of their Japanese fare. On top of sushi, they serve tempura, curry, katsu, croquettes, unagi don, and udon. There's a severe lack of quality authentic Japanese food in the valley and so far I'm very pleased with the food and service here. Happy to give such a high quality family-run restaurant my business!
I can’t eat sushi anywhere else. Nothing compares to Sushi Stop!
