everything started very well, we were seated almost instantly. our server was very nice and friendly at the beginning. our drinks and appetizers came out in a good time. but when we got a our rolls. we ordered the las vegas and Philadelphia roll. they both had so much cream cheese. the philly inside was 90% cream cheese hardly any avocado or cucumber, we both tried to eat one. when we asked our server if we could either take it off or get half off. she looked us and said well that’s what you ordered but i can go ask my manager but he always says that what you order is what you pay for. she came back AND split the bill in two checks and got 20% off only the philly. we then commented again about how much cream cheese was in the roll and how it was too much and couldn’t eat it she stuck her lip out at us and said sorry with no actual sympathy or care in the world that we didn’t enjoy our food. we liked her up until that. she could have handled the situation more professionally as a server as ourselves.
We dined in for the first time Saturday night. It wasn't packed at all but there were a handful of tables occupied. We were sat immediately. Our male server approached our table pretty promptly. We immediately ordered drinks and an edamame appetizer. Our server came back quickly with our drinks then we asked for a few more mins on the menu and to allow time for our appetizer. He came back a few mins later, no appetizer but we went ahead and ordered since we were hungry. About 15-20 mins tops a lady approached with our 2 rolls...still no appetizer? I asked her if I could add 1 more roll she says yes and leaves only to come back with our server. I repeated again that I just wanted to add 1 more roll. I ask about our appetizer and he looks towards the kitchen then his notepad? He clearly forgot to put it in! Tells me its coming soon but since some of our food starting coming out I cancelled it! We needed refills but he walked away? I had to put all 3 drinks at the end of the table so he could see we were in need. A couple mins go by and the roll that I added late comes out with another server? Then a few more mins and our fried rice comes out. More time goes by and lastly my 9 year olds chicken tenders come out? You mean to tell me fresh handmade rolls all came out before something from the fryer??? Most customers prefer all their food comes out at the same time but things happen but you would think a good server would put in an appetizer asap and if foods coming out in stages try to get the easiest/kids food out first? We needed refills again but where's our server??? The 3 times he came to our table was for refills, not once to ask how the food was? He may have been able to tell I was visibly upset so it seemed like he ignored our table after everything. It seemed that a group of girls a few tables away had an issue as well? Pretty terrible service! Lastly the recommended tip amounts are based on the grand total??? That's a no no! TAXES ARE NOT A SERVICE PROVIDED BY THE RESTAURANT therefore the recommended tip amounts should be based on the amount BEFORE taxes! I still left him a $10 cash tip because I could never leave a server nothing or a few dollars on a $67 dollar tab but I'm sorry I just had to leave this review. Food was OK. I would have done 3-4 stars but after our experience they're lucky I'm giving them 2.
Been here once to dine in and it was great food was delicious, waitress could’ve been a little bit nicer but it’s ok I understand everyone is different, no biggie. But just Friday I ordered take out and the food was great again except my noodles. Now they gave me the noodles but it was 70% veggies and 30% noodles. I feel like they gave me the end of the food, like what was left over. It’s just messed up cause I paid food noodles and barely got any.
Terrible absolutely terrible service i come here almost every Friday and observe, all waitresses always have a straight face, ever so often constantly sitting down too and clearly suck/lack at their job. If I were owner I would just fire everyone there and hire a new crew to get the place truly going(positively and right) food and beverages is chefs kiss though
The food is good. Very comparable to a place in Glendale but not as good. Additional it might help if you speak Spanish or use your translation app. We had to reorder our drinks a few times.
Ate in the bar area. Clean and friendly staff. I ordered a Vodka and Diet coke to drink. Took a couple of times to get that right but service was good. Had a Sushi roll and wasn't too bad.
WOW......The service is truly horrible here. They brought our drinks and we didn't see them again until the orders started dribbling out at a snails pace...The 3 of us ordered our food and they literally brought the orders one at a time....with 10 minute intervals between orders arriving The last order arrived at the table after the other 2 people were already finished eating, 45 min after arrival. This was not at a time where the restaurant was busy. There were literally 2 other tables with customers at them. When the last order FINALLY arrives....it is.......you guessed it LUKEWARM. When it finally arrived the presentation was good and it tasted very good but I'll never come here again. The excuse I was given when I asked about the third order was that there was a mix up with the tickets. So we sat there watching people arrive after us and enjoy their food while we or I waited.
My husband and I ate here a few years ago and were impressed. We tried to go back tonight but it took 30 minutes to be seated in a sticky, shadowy corner table. We then sat for another 20 minutes without being acknowledged by the MANY staff members who walked by and clearly saw us sitting there. We finally left and opted for another restaurant down the street.
this was amazing food wow was not expecting this at all . if you love sushi and mexican food who new this was even possible! fabulous! from Alaska and I just have too say this was so fabulous
Stopped in for lunch to try the Mexican and Asian fusion the place is known for. It was definitely a pleasant surprise. The Mexican roll was excellent. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is inviting. Will be returning for more!
