Pleasantly surprised by this little gem. Our server was helpful when ordering, super attentive and so pleasant. Everything ordered was well executed and delicious. Risotto, perfectly done. Pappardelle bolognese, great flavor. Best authentic tiramisu we have had since Italy. This might just be our new most favorite place, so don’t go telling everyone about it.

My wife and I enjoy excellent service and knowledge from our servers. We were pleasantly surprised to have a tremendous attentive and knowledgeable server about the menu. The meat and cheese board and the lobster shell pasta were terrific!

For the cost of the meal, the food was just average and the atmosphere felt pretentious. Nothing to write home about.

Parking was strange and limited in front of the restaurant. Staff was friendly and attentive. Wine by the glass was a limited selection. Daily specials.. food was warm and delicious! Dessert was well balanced and also yummy! We will definitely dine here again!

Restaurants are about 2 things and 2 things only - food and service. The service was good - friendly and not slow. That being said, the most important thing is the food. You don’t go to a restaurant because of food service. On a 1 to 10 scale the food was a 2. The charcuterie board was a 1. One type of cheese. A few pieces of salami and prosciutto. Soft olives. A few vegetable garnishes. Zero effort into quality or creativity. Worst I have ever had. The meatballs were ok but cold. The bruschetta was ok. We were served 2 small pieces of burnt hard crusted bread. Hopefully they get their act together but I won’t be back.

We had a group of six. Four had not been here before. Service was great and responsive. Food was excellent.

Disappointing! We had mussels and clams as appetizer. The sauce had good spice but the seafood was chewy and we had to ask for bread with it. We had the shrimp risotto and lasagna. Both were so overdone, the shrimp was tightly curled and chewy and the risotto was mushy. The pasta on the lasagna again overdone and mushy. It seemed almost deconstructed. Sauce on the side, cheese on top not well layered and again no bread for all that sauce. We will not go back.

As always everything is fantastic at Sam and Luca from being greeted and the service. Our meal was perfectly timed, our server gave us time to enjoy our cocktail then our appetizer, meal then dessert! We had the lamb chops last night and they were delicious.

This has become a go-to spot with friends and out-of-town guests. Great menu, food, and service. We always enjoy our dinners here.

Great experience here. The calimari was cooked perfectly. The pasta dish, the tiramisu and cocktail were all very good. The service was great and the price was reasonable for the quality of food. Would definitely return.
