UPDATED REVIEW: the very next MORNING, i received a call from the owner apologizing for their mess up. She saw my review and realized they accidentally gave my order to someone else. She profusely apologized for their mistake and for the way the manager spoke to me. She also refunded my entire meal which was nice because it wasn’t what I ordered and it was inedible. I truly appreciate her call and apologizing and making things right.I'm usually a fan of this place and I tend to frequent it a lot with friends and family. however tonight i decided to dine out, BIG MISTAKE. I ordered a P1 with extra steak extra jalepenos and hoisin sauce and charged for. extra. What i was given was far from right. I had TWO jalepenos and ALL FAT in my pho. STRAIGHT FAT. I was charged $23 for a bowl of fat. When I called to discuss my concerns the hostess was very nice only to speak to a terrible manager. He told me and I quote " you chose to order out so the quality of service and product is different than in house". He then proceeded to tell me that to go is Pre weighed out and in house is fresh and you get more. I have NO PROBLEM with it being pre weighed my issue is when you charge $6 for extra steak and serve me ALL FAT. then tell me I should've ate in. There is NO REASON that you should be under serving your takeout customers. We are a customer and deserve the same quality of service. He then proceeded to tell me I was wrong and if I was so unhappy I could come back and he would take a look at it and he would go from there. I live over 20minutes away it is 7pm at night and they close at 8. I was not driving back there for you to see it and tell me i'm wrong. So I told him no that would not work, he said "well if you're not driving here i don't know what to tell you, eat in next time, when you what more food you have to pay". I have no PROBLEM PAYING FOR EXTRA but give me what i pay for. I will NEVER return here and it's a shame because I used to really enjoy it and came often with friends and family. Terrible Terrible experience.
Went here last week for lunch and wish i hadnt.1st the man there gives me a dirty look, i should have walked out then.2nd the pho had a weird taste. Ive tried many pho in the valley and this was the worst.3rd this place is expensive for what you get. Got meatball and sliced beef, i got half a meatball and 3 slices of beef. I dont mind paying good money for good food but i felt ripped off. 30 bucks for lunch for 1 person. I wont be back.
I realized I had mixed up my reviews. Fixing that now.I enjoy the food here. However, I feel like the friendliness of the staff is very minimal. In a way, I felt like I was putting out a couple of the employees by being there. The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice until I talked to a couple different employees. It was mostly my most recent visit where the employees seemed like I was inconveniencing them.I felt like previous times food was great and customer service was average. This time I don’t know what it was but the employees had such a bad attitude. It made me feel like I should have taken my food to go.. I would give less stars due to lack of customer service. However, the quality of food would make me rate is higher. Customer service would be 1-2 and food would be closer to a 4 so I average it at a 3.
I’ve lived in Gilbert the past 3 years and this was hands down my favorite place to dine. Hands down. I come here at least 2-3 times a month. The food is great. I brought my sister here for dinner last week and she found hair in her food when she was halfway thru it. We informed the server, the server offered to replace it but my sister said it was fine (my toddler nephew was with us and he was tired). The server took the order off of the bill. We returned a week later, because of course we understand things happen, and like I said this is one of my favorite spots to eat at. We came in and we’re seated. A lady who I’ve never seen came from the kitchen and walked over to us and told us we had to leave because we complained about hair being in our food last time we ate there. Pause. I tried to explain that it wasn’t a big deal and we still wanted to support them and she walked off in the middle of me talking while saying they don’t want any trouble. I went to front counter and there was another young lady there who is usually my server when I come in, she said they didn’t want us to eat there anymore because the hair that we found in our food was not any of their hair. Basically insinuating that we put hair in our food so we don’t have to pay. I asked her for a manager, she declined. A man came from the back and said he was the manager and also stated that they weren’t going to serve us because it wasn’t their hair that we found in the food. Discrimination at its finest. Very poor attitudes over a $12 bowl of food. And it’s very sad that you don’t care about losing a consistent customer. I filed a complaint today. Than you for your service!
Don't be fooled by Google. They are NOT open on Monday. You will be greeted by a paper note on their front door telling you they are closed. The food taste fine but it's way over priced. Trust me, you will leave hungry after eating a large bowl of Pho.
I got the Spicy Beef Noodle Soup. Bun Bo Hue.Good service, atmosphere, and the food is very fresh. The restaurant is very clean.
Amazing Vietnamese food!!! Very fresh and flavorful. Pho was very tasty, wonderful broth, perfect steak and brisket. Many menu items for vegetarians.Totally recommend as a break from routine dining. Very healthy, fresh and delightful flavors. And don’t forget dessert.
We go quite often. Almost every week! This place has great pho and incredible strawberry nigori. We haven't had anything here we didn't like. The staff is incredibly nice and welcoming. Atmosphere is very cozy and relaxing.
Great menu redesign (I noticed)! When it gets cool outside, the Pho warms your soul.
Boyfriend and I went here first time trying and we love the PHO. Amazing. Will continue to go!
