The food was absolutely delicious. We tried three different entrees and they were each awesome!
The people who work here are very nice and willing to help you pick something out to eat I think the food is good I've done dine in and take out at this place and I've had no problems like I said the staff is very very nice
I called this place to order pickup and the guy answers the phone telling me that he's busy. I told him that I was just trying to order over the phone. I proceed to tell him that I would like yellow curry. He asks if I want steamed rice and I tell him yes, with the yellow curry. I ask him to confirm my order and he only says steamed rice. I said I also want yellow curry. He keeps telling me that he's really busy. I said that I just want to make sure that it's the curry with potato and chicken. Then he starts talking about some other dish and I tell him again that it's yellow curry. I ask if it has potato and chicken and he tells me a price. I ask again if it has chicken and potato then he tells me that he's busy and hung up. My husband went there and ordered the yellow curry and rice ? and this is what he brought home. I've been eating Asian food my whole life, red is not yellow and there's no nuts in yellow curry. It was supposed to be spicy but this dish didn't even have spices. So bland and some undercooked chicken. It was still hot when I got it but I know when meat is undercooked. It shouldn't be pink and rubbery. The portion size is pretty good. It's not terrible tasting just not yummy.
We have been going here for many years. The food is always good. I had beef and broccoli and my daughter had the Thai Soup and egg rolls. Yummy. The owners recognize you and treat you special. The service is always excellent. Give yourself a special treat. The beef curry is awesome also. Thank you Royal Thai.
i love this place.. small but packs a delicious menu and the owners are so cool.. if you hadn't tried.. go try. I love the jerk beef and sticky rice..?
Royal Thai Grill is the best Thai food in the East valley. Tonight left the restaurant feeling like the Queen of Siam. We started with a delicious seafood soup called Yen-Ta-Fu so vivid in color and flavor, followed by a shrimp Pad Thai and finally a serving of chicken Massaman curry. I cannot rave enough about the great food and very kind and hospitable owner who serves and gives his wife, the great cudos for her cooking, for he states he taught her.
I had a taste for chicken pad thai. I went to Google and chose this place based on the high reviews even though the prices are very high. I ordered online for takeout. I got home to dig into my food and was totally disappointed. There was a rancid taste to the noodles, very few pieces of chicken and the spring rolls where rubbery and bland, what a a waste and all for the steep price of $25! Do not recommend.
Never realized this little restaurant was near by. i will be back alot. Food and service was impeccable. Authentic Thai food and very reasonable prices.
Food here is pretty bomb! And I eat for two days with the portions they give on take out!
I have ordered from this place through Grubhub twice and had a good experience on both occasions. Then one day I thought I saved some money by placing a take out order over the phone. To start off, whoever that answered the phone was not courteous. When I arrived to pick up my order I realized that I had ordered the wrong item. I told the man at the counter that it was my mistake and I was willing to pay for it. But for no apparent reasons he went ballistic on me as if I was trying to put the blame on him. He went as far as telling me that if I didn't want the food then I should go somewhere else! Unbelievable! And then, the 2 items I ordered were beef dishes. He said there would be $2 extra for each. What was supposed to be a $20 plus tax order turning into a $32 ordeal. Not sure what other fees were added to the bill as there was no itemized receipt. All the guy did was punching on a desktop calculator and giving me the final cost. This is very interesting! I thought during these hard times, you wanted to take in as many customers as you can so to try to keep your business afloat. I guess this restaurant has proven me wrong. No way I'm going back to order from this place again, not even through Grubhub!
