We accidentally found Red Mountain Bar and Grill one Sunday afternoon when we are looking for a sports bar to watch a football game. Since then we have been back four times with people from the area and visiting relatives. We picked up our friend at the sky harbor airport and bragged about their homemade potato chips. Unfortunately they no longer make them from scratch using their fine slicer. Their new chips were not nearly as good and the serving was exceedingly small. Other than that the food was excellent. The owner’s grandma’s meatloaf sliders are fabulous. We really went for the spiral potato chips. Probably will not be back.
Stopped by for my Birthday dinner because I love the artichoke dip here with the homeade chips and bread. Also tried stuffed tots. AMAZING. All of ur ordered different meals and enjoyed each meal. The owner stopped by & explained the stuffed tots to my husband and we were sold. He stopped by a couple times to make sure we were satisfied and okay with what we ordered. Love this bar/ restaurant. Defiantly a try for 1st timers!
My mom got a burger which was pretty good, mine was a bit dry. More to the point we sat at our table for probably 20 minutes before a server saw us, then another 45 waiting for food. For reference, it was not busy. And my burger was missing two toppings plus sauce.
The food was just decent nothing special and it was slow but the server was pretty friendly. Hopefully the new owners can do way better than the last 4/5 this place has been cursed lol I just don’t see this place lasting tbh
Jason a part owner was my barenter/server.I have been mostly disappointed of all the food and beer in Mesa since my arrival from Spokane Washington but this has been my reprieve. An oasis in the desert literally. My diamond in the ruff. I'll be back anytime I'm in Messa Arizona for sure. Also for the rest of my stay. Daily.Highly recommend to all the locals who don't already know this is the best watering hole around. Try the 805 lager. Delicious. I had the chicken strip and fries with honey mustard. Stopped in for happy hour with our dog and boy, were we in for a great surprise! Probably some of the best wings we’ve ever had! Cold beer and strong drinks. Good sized patio & loved that they don’t allow smoking on the patio. The staff was super accommodating & friendly! Will definitely be back.
the fish fry on Friday night is excellent. the 1st cook in 5 months that I have found that knows how to cook fish.
Went on a Saturday night. It was not overly busy but there were only 2 servers on, which were working very hard and were very attentive and nice. The food was typical bar food though. Not bad but not amazing.
So close to home. Great staff and great food. love the atmosphere.
Good food, pleasant and accommodating staff, priced right. Home made potato chips and fresh home made fries. Worth checking out.
