I learned one thing today, not all Pita Jungle are the same. I literally ate at a Phoenix location last week and I and my guest ordered the same exact dish, only the taste was far from acceptable for Pita Jungle.The food here .. well, it basically tastes like the food was pre-made and shipped out to this location. Bland, Bland, Bland salmon and my guest also received low quality rubber tasting chicken strips, rather than the advertise chicken breast in her wood fired chicken.Upon receiving the the plate, she asked "Where is the chicken?" and the server brought 4 more small chicken strips.We were dumbfounded to say the least.When asked about the different chicken selection change we were told that due to COVID Pita Jungle purchased what was available... I will repeat that " Purchased what was available" Yeah, go figure.In the end, we left a barely touched wood fired chicken plate and I gave up my plate to my guest, a bland salmon that I had to season as best with the usual condiments on the table.One thing is certain.. The Deer Valley location has actual chicken breast. Pita Jungle should rethink who they let purchase in their chain.
Went here with my Husband and friend. This was our first time here. We are trying new different food options. My Husband ordered a wrap and specified no onions. Our food took a long time to come out (restaurant wasn't too busy...maybe it was pickup orders) Anyway his is filled with onions. They offer to make a whole new meal to go and also comped his meal. By this time he has had it with Pita Jungle. Gave his to go meal to a homeless person. Not going back.
The food was delicious. A little pricey but not for the area it's common for that area. Nice clean atmosphere good service if anything maybe the staff was a little disconnected but still a tentative but the food was great
The service here was LIGHTNING fast! My group of 5 ordered lunch and they literally had our food to us in about 5 minutes or less! The meal was really good, if a little plain...I might try adding some extras to it next time, or trying something else but all-in-all it was a great lunch!
Service is great .. cilantro hummus was great and so was the garlic dip. Drinks and other foods are okayish. .. service gets the 5 stars and food a 3. They close at 8 15 pm .
I ordered a lettuce wrap this is what I received. Poor customer service skills and lacking common sense .
Usually the food here is exceptionally good and very well prepared. Tonight I ordered their 2 for 1 Shawarma Chicken pita. The manager was very helpful assisting me in obtaining the coupon (nothing on the website). I arrived back at the office and started on the pita. Immediately I noticed it was a bit dry when I expected some sauce or dressing. Nothing was in the bag like sauces. I checked the menu and it said there was garlic sauce and tahini in the pita. I could neither smell, taste or see either. I did order at 8:30pm, just 30 minutes before closing, so maybe the food preparer had loads of last minute orders to fill and I slipped through the cracks. The pita was ok. The chicken flavorful and cooked to perfection. It was definitely missing any flair that I usually enjoy from Pita Jungle dishes though. Hopefully next time I will get to enjoy the full experience of PJ.
Always love this place! Fresh, close-by, and reasonably priced Mediterranean food! There is something on the menu for everyone. I had hummus with grilled chicken, 2 dolmades, pitas, and falafel. Absolutely excellent! I get the same thing every time I go! ? I cannot remember her name, unfortunately, but the server was outstanding! I added a photo of her, because she was top notch ?
Ordered black bean burger with a side of potato and veggie pizza on lavash. The food was packed securely and food was delicious. Definitely will recommend.
Got the chili verde beef. Way below expectations. Half of the plate was the tzatziki sauce, other half the yellow rice. Lucky if I even had an ounce of the chili verde beef on the plate. Flavor was mediocre. Now I remember why it has been years since I have been here. So many Better pita places. The service was excellent.
