Really Good...
Lechon ! Excellent service and product. Celebrate the traditional way here in AZ.
I was excited to try some food here. I attended a Lechon roast at the Wandering Tortoise and the line a good amount arriving at about 12:30 with chop time starting at noon. By the time my friend and I got to the front, they were out of the lechon but had other selections on the menu: paksiw, chicken adobo wings and pork skewers. We ordered all three and it was all amazing in flavor, taste and texture and truly tasted like authentic Filipino cuisine. I would have given 5 stars if it weren’t for customer service. When I went to pick up the order, I mistakenly touched a box that was not the order. The lady working asked what my order number was and I responded “6”. She pointed to a stack of three boxes closer to me that I then was reaching for. She then said, “let me serve it to you, I don’t want you to touch other people’s food” in a condescending tone. I said nothing, walked away.I ate the food and again it’s amazing but due to this, I will not be supporting a business that treats its customers, especially an American Filipina-Cebuana, (in which its food caters to) like trash.
Amazing authentic food and friendly service. I will be coming back in the future. The lechón kamayan was just incredible.
We ordered the Kamayan dinner for a Halloween party and the food was excellent. The chicken was perfect, the sauces were all fun to try and delicious. The dessert was great too. The owners are very sweet people as well.
Had a awesome experience in here with my girlfriend. The food arrived rapidly and the service is just awesome. Prices are affordable.
