I usually order pick up from this location. Even at the least busiest times, I’ll go to pick up my food at the time they say it will be ready and I never is. I end up waiting another 10 minutes for it i be ready, meanwhile there no line. Also funny how when I walk in their just chit chatting behind the counter. I stopped ordering from this location because of their poor service and quality.
This rating is simply because my husband was charged almost 3 dollars for a cup of water. We ordered pick up online and spent close to 30$... I asked my husband to get me some water when he went in to pick up the food and the cashier told him cups of water are not free. This is ARIZONA IN THE SUMMER. As disappointed as I am I really hope this is a company policy and not her just targeting him because he's black. My husband has been treated poorly before in this area even tho he is incredibly polite. Do better.
My husband and I always enjoy going here. The food is great and the service has always been amazing.We usually go for the chicken katsu plate and the fire chicken plate. Both equally delicious and filling. It's always a great place for musubi and Hawaiian Sun drinks.Definitely recommend if you are looking for a nice and hearty rice dish meal.
Sent my whole catering order out with no sauce, I called to tell them I was coming back for it, no worries. Got to the store and they tried to give me a handful of the little sauces that would come with a personal entree. I tried to show my receipt and explain that we were talking about a large catering order and was told that if I wanted more sauce I was going to have to pump it myself at the condiment bar. Like dude I paaaaaid for this sauce?
They were decent. Now they're terrible. Kalua pork isn't slow cooked enough, as it's chunky and tough and a much smaller portion than before. Chicken katsu is made from sliced chicken instead of whole pieces so you're eating mostly batter and breading. They'll also stack a few freshly fried pieces over old, cold, and hard pieces. Half the plate is literally rice filler. They were never authentic, but everything was alright. Now it's the lowest quality you can imagine
I ordered a catering package for a birthday party and all any of us could talk about was how good the food was! It was super easy to order online, the staff was very helpful upon pickup, and everything tasted phenomenal!!! I would order again in a heartbeat! Please make your way out to San Diego!!!
I ordered the mini Katsu chicken and it was greasy, and the alot of fatty breading. The chicken was all dark fatty meat ( I hate dark meat). The veggies were bland barely cooked cabbage and 1 piece of broccoli. As for the macaroni salad very bland and left a bad taste in my mouth. I DEFINITELY WILL not go back. My husband got the split meal with the Hawaiian beef and terraki chicken, he said the beef was stringing and the chicken was good but both needed more sauce and was to dry
If you can't afford to go to Maui this is your next best taste of the Island. We always get the BBQ mixed plate. Great food!!!
The food here is so good. The macaroni salad is our family favorite. Can’t wait to try different menu items.
Paid an extra 3$ for a side of fish and got this last time I ever go here
