Pretty disappointed. My husband went into get our family burritos. I’m pregnant so it’s been my craving. My husband and daughter were the only customers in there around 11:30am and he said the lady that helped him was rushing and seemed annoyed that he was even there. She was barely listening to his wants and we got ingredients in our burritos we didn’t even ask for. Very frustrating. Overall the food is good and fresh and we payed for the food even though it was not correct.
Food, great! Staff, not so much. Before escalating to this post, I tried working with the General Manager of this location and a few corporate emails to try to resolve this problem.I have been a customer service specialist for many years and never have I seen or experienced customer service as bad as this location. There is a specific employee that lacks professionalism has no respect, courtesy, or acknowledgement on your requests. Again, I have never had this issue before in my life but it truly affects your food quality, how you want it, and the experience you have. It has happened to my wife, friends and family when they go in. The GM always has the staffs back and blames us, the consumer. Corporate just says, "yes we know who you're talking about and it has been corrected". Obviously, it has not. Sadly I will no longer visit this business after this last encounter, the GM seemed to not care either as notated above. Completely unprofessional.
We were so excited when we saw this was opening. The first few times we went there it was amazing, but today, 3/5/22, was different story. There is a lady that works the grill that has a really bad attitude and when we finally got our burritos they weren't as full as they usually are. Unfortunately there service and employees have both gone down hill.
I had the utmost pleasant experience today from a young lady named Lesly. She was very informative on the ingredients and process of the curation of the food and menu. She clearly cares for the job, and I will be back to visit because of her! The food was also amazing!
The location near us is still called Mister Mesquite, and it's been a favorite of ours since we discovered it over a year ago. We typically go every week or two, and the food is always good. So is the smell of the mesquite grill. Fantastic!
Finally gave it a try after months of driving past here every day. Chicken was dry and not that much flavor. Beans were ok. Chips were good. Not sure if they have different salsa, but what was given to me with chips and salsa was not something I would order again. Very inviting decor and the staff was friendly. Unfortunately I probably won't be back, the quality and quantity of food for the price is not worth it.
The location in East Mesa off Crismon is very good. I love this place. I was walking out from probably my 100th visit to this location when a new customer stopped me to ask “what’s good here?”. I paused for a second and replied “everything, but if it’s your first time go for the steak burrito!!”.I’ve heard other locations getting a bad review, but this location cooks it right. The only thing I don’t understand is why on Google it’s “Mesquite Fresh Street Mex”, but the sign outside and inside has always been Mr Mesquite (which I like better). This confused people looking on Google for Mr Mesquite, because it doesn’t pull up this location. Anyway, it stupid good food here. Go get it now!!!
Finally went to try it out today after passing by many times and smelling the awesome mesquite smoky smell that makes your tummy growl. However, I wasn't impressed. It was overpriced and they got the order wrong even though I ordered online. My coworker also ordered online and they got part of the order wrong. The food was good but for a $12 burrito I expected a little more. Bang for the buck I would have to say Chipotle is right priced for what you get but I appreciate they (Mesquite)cook with mesquite to get that bbq flavor you can't get at Chipotle.
First time eating here breakfast burrito was delicious an decent price.Steak is good an there hot sauce is hot also higley recommend
Taco bowls are pretty bomb. Smoked meat so you have to like that but yeah, pretty darn good
