I got the Buddha's salad (grain salad). It was tasty but could have used some more variety of veggies. The staff wasn't very helpful and as it being my first time, didn't really explain anything. I'd rather go somewhere that wants my business and wants to help me maximize my meal.

OMG!!! The best salad ever! Perfect portion of all ingredients that with every bite, it had all your ingredients in that one bite. Every bite.I had the honey mustard dressing...YUMMY!

Had the Edgar Allen Poe and it was great. I love that you are able to customize your salad how you want. While the food was great, I have to commend the staff. They are not only personable but they also assisted another couple (one in a wheelchair). They not only brought the couples’ order to them (normally you’d take it yourself), but also grabbed them all the condiments, utensils, and drinks and brought them to their table.

Love this place BUT their online ordering system needs an update. From Google, order online, select delivery, logging into my account, making my order, go to check out & it is for pick up NOT DELIVERY. There's no way to change it to delivery after you check out & no way to cancel the order immediately so I can re-do it (frustrating enough). So I go to call the store to cancel it & due to being during their lunch rush - their phone hangs up on me & asks me to call back after 1:30! I've never experienced something like that!Very difficult & frustrating to deal with for a salad :(

Well, if I was vegan without many food sensitivities I might give more stars. BUT if you require sufficient protein this is probably not your place. The bowls are generous with fresh colorful produce & great options for build your own bowls, a nice option. But even with quinoa AND chicken (no beef or pork here, shrimp is your other "meat" option) the bowl is primarily veg. My real complaint though is the dressing options. All are a problem for those eating clean. The tamest, a vinegarette was so gelatinous it must be gluten. The first one she suggested was spicy & creamy. All others were creamy & and thick. Nothing resembling a simple light vinegarette so lemon juice & oil is it, which sadly left my bowl so dry & bland. I dumped my own olive oil on & had sea salt in my purse that salvaged it. So if you care what goes on your veggies I'd suggest bring your own dressing.Mad Greens is a good concept but I prefer Wildflower or Chipotle.

was at the downtown Phoenix location and the lady working answered SO many of my questions about the prices, build your own options, flavors of the dressings, drinks, and more about certain foods since I'm vegan, let me sample 3 dressings bc I was indecisive, was super sweet, patient, and informative for my first expierence! Made my bad day into a good one. Will definitely be coming back next time I am in the area or see another location to support the business. love the healthy options! AMAZING customer service. hope she gets a bonus. was there early afternoon last week I believe.

Really disappointed in our food tonight. Usually you’re a 10. Tonight you’re a generous 1 - especially for the price! Hardly anything but lettuce on my salad and the mac and cheese? Really? It’s like 6 noodles. If you’re going to justify raising your prices, serve better quality bowls.

The mixing bowls were not scrubed clean. They were grey, not shiny. Looked like jus dipped in soap water. There was residue on the inside of the bowl from a previous salad. I mentioned and pointed it out to her. When I went down the line I saw her put it back on the stack of bowls for the next person ! Gave my salad to my animals. I can't go back there ever.

Not a good first impression. $6 for a soup that's not full. I ordered the bowl, not the cup size. Not to mention I ordered chicken tortilla soup and after I made my over 10 minute drive back to work I open it to find Cream of Jalepeno . I was really looking forward to some protein at lunch but guess that's not happening today. The soup is good at least.EDIT: I had this as a 2 start review but I have since spoken with management that actually cares ( hard to find sometimes!) about their customers and have increased it to 4 stars. I'll be giving them another try since , like I said, the soup was good.

This has become one of our go-to places. The qualify of the ingredients is top notch. You can customize your salad or bowl however you like along with a variety of proteins. They have a good variety of tasty dressings--I just wish they would post the dressing ingredients. A favorite item is the Cowboy Caviar. A bowl of different veggies that is served with dressing (I usually get the dressing on the side and take this home for a snack later). Throw a little Mad Spice on your dish for a little extra flavor.
