Our table for 9 was ready when we arrived. Our waitress was amazing at taking our drink order and keeping the drinks filled. Chips and salsa were never ending! The food was wonderful as always! We were really, really happy with our experience at Macayoâs and will keep coming back!
So let me preface this review with the fact that I have been going to Macayos for over 30 years now. The service has been dwindling ever since they went corporate, and this will be the last time that we go. (which is really sad to think about). Our server was one of the most inattentive servers iâve ever had at a restaurant. He didnât ask if we wanted a refill on chips. didnât ask if we wanted more salsa. He gave us a refill on our beverages after we asked 3 times. My children asked for rice with their meal and not beans, and their meals came out with beans. When we asked him for the rice he said he would get it, and it never came. I asked for the check and it took almost 10 minutes to get the check. I understand these are trying times we are in, but it really is unfortunate to watch a restaurant that I have so many memories at, go to shambles over the course of a couple of yearsâ¦.
We waited for a long time to be served. There was only one waitress serving a large area. Food was very good.

Excellent food as always and staff are always friendly and get orders correct. It’s one of our favorite places to eat.
