La Parrilla Suiza was recommended to us by close friends, so we obviously had to try it. We were not disappointed. Food was very good, service was very attentive - the only unfortunate part of this review, is that we left a pair of new sunglasses on the table. We drove off and realized it - made a U-Turn at the next traffic light and came right back to the Restaurant- no more than 5 minutes later, returned to the table we occupied, and it had already been cleared and no- sunglasses. I approached the hostess who asked the person who cleared the table and he claimed he never saw the sunglasses. Incredible!?!? Just watch your belongings--

About 25 years ago we used to go to the location by Paradise valley Mall and enjoyed it very much. But haven't been to this location ever. It was as good as I remember. Jorge did an excellent job. We will definitely be back!

Some of the best mexican food we have had. The steak was amazingly seasoned. Frijoles charros were delicious. It was all truly an amazing dinner with amazing service.

We've been going to La Parrilla for years and my go to meal is always the tortilla soup (loaded). This soup was one of the few foods I crave. Flavors are amazing on all the food; it reminds my husband of when he grew up in Mexico City. Service has always been great, prices fair, and food portions great. I would highly recommend this little gem.

Hadn't been here in a while and decided to try them again this past weekend. And was extremely happy with our choice. Service was excellent, food was delicious. Will definitely be back soon.

Pretty good overall but not amazing. Chips were good, think and lightly salted. They provide three types of salsa and all were good. Rice and beans were really good, entrees and desert were just ok. Seemed like prices were high.

Un servicio malo en la mesera

Delicioso! We arrived around 7 pm, so I'm guessing that's why it wasn't very busy, so we were greeted and seated promptly. We were seated right next to the large kitchen window where you can see where all the magic ? happens! ? It took us a while to review the menu because it is extensive...so many delicious sounding choices. I chose the #14 Bistek con Enchiladas Suizas ~ two cheese enchiladas served with two charbroiled beef tacos and a small side of probably the best Spanish rice I've ever tasted and a generous side of their equally delicious pinto beans. The flavor of the beef in the tacos is exceptional and their green avocado based salsa makes them taste even better. They STUFF their freshly made corn tortillas with the charbroiled beef, so I was nearly STUFFED after eating both of those. The meat tastes like perfectly grilled steak...tender and juicy. The cheesy enchiladas were very different from any other Mexican restaurant I've ever been to, with a mozzarella type cheese, perhaps combined with some cheddar. I'm not sure, but all that really matters is they were delicious with a moderate amount of their spicy, but not too spicy, red sauce. All the flavors went incredibly well together. Yes, I would order that same dish again! My husband chose #35 Enchiladas Suizas ~ three fresh handmade corn tortillas filled with chicken, beef, or cheese covered with red enchilada sauce, melted cheese, and sour cream, served with charro beans and rice. He got the chicken enchiladas which he said were great. My son ordered #15 Pechuga Suiza ~ two flour tortillas stuffed with cheese and grilled thin chicken breast topped with more cheese, served with two beef or chicken tacos sauteed with bacon, bell peppers, and onions, which he thoroughly enjoyed. And finally, his significant other, who recommended this restaurant, chose her go-to dish, the #5 Queso Suizo ~ their unique melted cheese served on a skillet, and browned, with flour tortillas, and added a side of their refried beans. Not only was the food exceptional, but the service was great! Our server responded promptly to our requests and was very attentive. Will I go back to this restaurant? Absolutely ?, and I'm anxious to do so. Delicioso!

This restaurant has a good variety of bomb food. the chicken and mole is ? give them a shot.

Was going to give this four stars out of spite due to the positioning of the handicap parking stalls. Wasn't able to park in one to the fact that a car would back up into mine since I would effectively block that car in. Stupid parking design. Parking blocks were almost 6 feet away from handicap poles. No need. Trust me, I don't want to hit your poles..But I digress...I've been here a couple of times before. Was okay. Wasn't impressed. But tonight, wow! Ordered the queso chorizo dip as appetizer. Delicious.I then ordered the molcajete. I've had it at a few other places but this was definitely the best I've ever had. It was incredible. The bowl was lava hot as it should be. Steak, chicken, shrimp, and zucchini cooked perfectly.I'll order it again.
