4 rolls for $60Tried a piece from each one and the rest went to the garbage. Very fishy with little flavor
Not as good as it used to be since the old owners sold the place. They have a different supplier now for sushi / seafood and it's lower quality now. Some of the salmon nigiri was a little rubbery / chewy and the Octopus was not as fresh either. Still pretty good for Mesa standards but it's not 5 star sushi anymore.
Good was excellent . . . Not a long wait. Food was fresh. Ama waitress that attended at our table was on point
Staff was friendly. Did not have sushi, but ordered beef bolgogi, spicy pork bolgogi and Thai chicken. Lack of flavor on all dishes. I guess going to Korea and having authentic Korean food (bolgogi) I should of known a sushi place would not have good Korean food or Thai food. But I'm sure there sushi is awesome! But I wouldn't know, rating it based on my experience with what I ordered.
I visited here last night for dinner, got 4 nigiri, and 2 rolls. The food was decent, price portion was right, rolling technique was good. However, I had a sharp stomach pain around 3am the next day, went to the bathroom painfully, is still recovering now without eating much.I observed that there were only 2 ladies serving everyone. One was mainly cleaning the table with a cart, but she still helped out and served food. The other lady was supposed to serve food, setting table, but also helping out picking up dirty dishes. They did not wash hands between cleaning and serving.I still decided to eat, thinking it wouldnt be as bad, however, it could have been the food or mishandling food that got my stomatch upset. One of the rolls I got had a mixed sauce with grounded raw fish, where spoiled fish couldnt be detected by taste. I just want to bring to attention about the standard of cleaning and serving food at restaurants. The person cleans should not serve, the server should not touch dirty dishes, or wash hand before serving food/drink.
Excellent quality food. A good dining experience. The staff is super friendly and really care about your dining experience. Their Got2 sushi roll is excellent as well!
This place is awesome and I'm glad it's so close to home. Fresh and great tasting sushi, very clean inside, and customer service was great. Never once did someone have to ask for a refill on their drink. Lots of variety and priced fairly for the quality and freshness. I will be returning!
$66 for sub par sushi. It tastes like it was prepared in a microwave.... The rice was mushy, and had the consistency of baby food. Please! Save yourself time and money and go to Ninja's or anywhere else.
Great sushi and love the updated decor. It wasn't busy which was great. It was too warm inside. The wine list is VERY limited and the one I chose was not available:(
