My husband stopped here with some friends for lunch one day and then came home telling me how good he thought it was so I had to go see for myself. We took two of our friends with us, one of who loves, loves hot dogs. We waited in line for 20 minutes and there was a line that long behind us. The wait was worth it. The hot dogs are cooked over charcoal and have a really good taste. There are a lot of free toppings to choose from but bacon, chili, etc. cost extra. I ordered a hot dog with bacon and boy was it good. There are numerous items to choose from. There are some seats inside and a few outside. We would go back again.
I’m from Buffalo and haven’t been to a Teds for many years. Finding myself in Tempe, I knew I would have to go. I read other reviews about their Loganberry shakes but needed to see for myself if they were any good. Just tasted like a vanilla shake. Granted if you’re using 4 scoops of vanilla ice cream, it was a good shake, just not flavorful like I had hoped. Now lets talk hotdogs. I got a footlong and my friend got 2 all beef. You just can’t beat a Sahlen’s hotdog!!!I requested my buns be grilled and they came out with a perfect char. I’ll be back, and I will probably skip the milkshake altogether!
This was our first time visiting Ted’s, the hotdogs were the best we’ve had in quite some time. Charbroiled is the only way to get a hotdog. Regular, or foot long you can’t go wrong.
Have been going here since one of my old regular spots closed down and hands down some of the best doggos in West Mesa. Always amazing service, always quality food and tastes like Sonora??
Delicious food, great customer service, sometimes the wait is too long because of the line ? A lot of people go here; it's outside eating and to go food. Very convenient!!
Very good
We moved from the Valley ten years ago. Today I was in the area and was excited to relieve “Ted’s”. It was just minutes after they opened and there were three groups in front of me. Total chaos on the grill, where they argued over whether burger or dogs were up (how’bout just ask the customers standing three feet in front you to clarify. Approx ten+ bucks for my regular dog with chili and cheese and a large drink (I did add two dollars of sauces). Dog was okay. No silverware so I got my own out of the car (too hectic at pay station, I think everyone was new and one girl was being hired at a table as I ate). Later, full (I don’t eat much), I went by a similar “dawg” place on the north side of the old downtown Gilbert. Reviews were so great I had to go in. Spent roughly the same for same “dawg” setup (not sure I can say their name in this review but there’s a ‘hint’ in the quotes. Really really good and their sauces! Go there instead
The best hot dog I tried here in Mesa, the bun taste so good and they have a lot of different choices, they also sell Tacos and other stuff. They always are kind with us the customers, amazing prices, this place is the bomb!I recommend to try the Asadogo, Dogo Gordito and Vampiros
Dinner at Shamshiri Grill earlier this week was as delicious as the the lunch hubby and I shared in 2017 with many equally tasty to-go's my non-Yelper guy picked up throughout 2018 hence no check-ins. I'm kind of a purest/honest about check-ins. If I wasn't there it doesn't count even though I could check-in from the comfort of my kitchen when it comes to Shamshiri Grill's zipcode and mine, just sayin'.
