This my 2nd time at a Dickeys. This one is in the NW corner lot at Alma School & Guadalupe. I had the Classic Plate this time(Brisket & Kielbasa) with sides of mac & cheese, potato salad and delicious onion strings. It all tasted great in their signature BBQ sauce.Service by Asst. Manager Jessica was very polite, prompt & professional(a 10 for the 3Ps).Dickeys retains my title as best BBQ in Mesa.
Not impressed at all! Spent over $80 for a sandwich and 3 plates. We ordered Texas toast and got the free biscuits instead, they also did not add cole slaw on top like I asked and paid for. Aside from that, the food was really not all that great. Disappointed and won’t return. Cost too high for quality and taste of what you get.
The free delivery is not free at all. After you place your order, you will be charged 9.00 that you are not informed of before you submit your order. I just looked at my receipt and I noticed a "tip" for 9.00 that I did not agree to or was informed of. We will go out of our way to go to Tom's BBQ from now on and avoid the "free delivery" charge.
They send out coupons, they aren't accepted, they want you to order online, and you can't get the price quoted in the coupons. They never have full staff and they won't take orders over the phone, so if you go there expect to WAIT! I honestly don't know how they stay in business. Oh, and that "free pork sandwich" .. don't kid yourself.. When you get your act in gear, let me know.
Underwhelming. I guess they're understaffed right now because service was very slow. The menu by the drive-thru was outdated and did not have any of the same meals as online. It also did not show any prices. Food was not that great. Staff were very friendly though and were obviously doing their best.
Went last night and decided to try the new picnic box. Just learned they charge more if you pick brisket. Just say that on the add then. So we order our meal the total is $37 we get to the window and the girl forgets our drink and ranch, not a big deal we just remind her then thank her and head home. Well at home we realized they also forgot the bread pickles and onions. So my husband calls and speaks to the manager and says come back I'll get it all packed up for you and throw in an extra side. We head back and they forgot the onions and pickles again! So my husband walks back inside and they gave him the hardest dessert I've ever felt in my life that thing must have been sitting aside since the restaurant opened because its harder than a brick. Stupid waste of time and money
I ordered from Doordash. The manager called me and couldn't fulfill my order. He couldn't refund my $ he doesn't know how. He offered to deliver it the next day! I wanted it yesterday not today!. I called again today. No apology. No offer to make it and give me a refund. No nothing except He will try and refund my money. Poor management there. I would have made my customers happy. Give them a credit for a free meal since you couldn't make my meal last night. Once I can get a way to doordash I'll complain as well but haven't been able to.
While I've always loved Dickey's, this time was not quite up to standard. The meat was room temperature and didn't taste very well. The desserts seemed like they were old. I'll give him another shot cuz I really love Dickey's but if it's this bad again I'll just go to the other one.
Helpful, friendly staff helped us with our catering event. The food was hot and delicious. They delivered everything and set up the food exactly when they said it would be at our home. We will definitely call the 2748 S Alma School Rd, Mesa 85210 restaurant when we have our next event.
Great friendly staff. I love that they were so eager to help. 2 pulled pork sandwiches and 2 sides. The mashed potato casserole was a little dry however the flavor was great. I will be returning.
