Good place to try something Japanese. The Vegas roll is huge and tasty. But for the Chicken Yakisoba, not really satisfiedPlace is neat and nice. Lady server was nice. Ample free parking. Food prices were ok.
I've dined in and placed orders for pickup and delivery many times. This is my favorite place for my favorite dish (Udon noodle). ? Their appetizers and sushi are good too. The restaurant looks clean and service is great. I'm glad it's nearby my house.P.S. Be careful with their to-go boxes/packaging. I got spilled sometimes.
The service was excellent, the sushi that I had was delicious. It was not just about taste, which of course was great, was also about excellent presentation which is a signature of sushi and Japanese cuisine overall.
This place was recommended by my sister a while back. First time we went was on a Tuesday, they were closed... lolWe recently attempted to go back, this time on a Saturday and we got to dine in. I ordered the POKE ROLL, it was awesome. We also had some other rolls and noodles as well. Everything we ordered was delicious.I gave it a 4* because of the song/video they have playing on loop. Same video plays over and over again.To the owners, please add some other videos please.Enjoy.
Went here today for the first time and really enjoyed my experience. Our food came fairly quickly and the quality was amazing. Kaarage was cooked perfectly, tempura was delicious, and ramen was full bodied.
Sushi looked bad and tuna was not fresh. Ramen was OK but egg was refrig cold and it only had two small PCs of pork.
The sushi looked better than it tasted. I put it on par with the prepackaged sushi you get from the grocery store. Also the customer service was off. I asked to have the salmon cooked all the way through and the waitress told me “No we can’t do that”. I don’t know why she said that but after I told her I’m not going to eat she went and had the sushi made like I asked. As as customer I shouldn’t have to refuse to eat in order to have my salmon in a vegas roll cooked all the way through ?. We also never received our garlic edamame even though she wrote it down on a piece of paper. It’s not like the place was super busy either. Maybe the next patrons will get a free order of garlic edamame, who knows? Nonetheless I won’t be coming to this place again and I do not recommend spending $80 on sushi, noodles and plain edamame at Daruma.
I ordered a bowl of the spicy ramen which I enjoyed. Price was good and service was quick and friendly. I got there around 12:00 shortly after they opened up and had my pic of a table. The restaurant quickly filled up afterward with the lunch rush.
This place gave me terrible food poisoning the next day.We went there for lunch and ordered:- 1 Takoyaki (very salty and tasted like frozen instead of homemade)- 1 mixed vegetables tempura (1 taro, 1 zucchini, 1 lotus root, 1 half raw onion(not fully cooked), 3 string beans, 1 small pumpkin (not fully cooked), and 1 yellow apple (I mean deep-fried yellow apple. It was soft and tasted gross.)- 1 dragon roll (eel wasn’t fresh)- 1 spicy tuna roll (I didn’t have this as I can’t have raw meat. My husband only ate 1 and he said it’s terrible)- 2 miso soup (just a regular soup. Nothing’s fancy about it)*Giving 2 stars because we had a very nice server.*They also had music on pretty loud in the restaurant which wasn’t a good restaurant manner.Everything we ordered was not great at all, especially with the price we paid I expected something more satisfying. This place is NOT authentic and not that good. I literally have no idea where all the good reviews came from. Clearly, they don’t know what authentic Japanese foods are like. With the prices here, you also can go to somewhere else better than this. This was our first time at this place, and will also be the last..
??Delicious, great portions, good variety, and good quality. I recommend the Sui Gyoza, Creamy Albacore Roll, & Dobson Roll. Everything is presented and packaged well for takeout orders too!
