Walked in. Cockroach welcomed us in the entryway. That should have been enough to leave. Waiting in line. Worker was making the Strawberry Blond with Raspberry Sorbet. That's should have been clue two to leave. When I brought it to her attention, her response was, but I already started making it. So I let the woman know her order was being made wrong.Last straw? The worker dropped the entire sliding plexiglass directly into the ice cream area. She pulled the plexiglass out. I could see how grotesquely filthy it was. The I noticed the ice cream on the plexiglass. I looked into the ice cream area and could see grotesque debris that had fallen from the plexiglass when she dropped it in there. I'm talking about the two huge plexiglass sliding doors on the workers side.They are going to mix whatever that grotesque debris is that had fallen onto the ice cream to the customers.No, we left. We didn't place our order. Will not be back. I kinda wanna vomit while writing this.
I have been to many Cold Stones but have never had an experience like this one. My husband and I walk in and immediately realized it smelled like rotten milk. As I look at the wall where the waffle cones are made and feel the stickiness of the floor we decided to leave as we were so grossed out by how dirty this store was and fear of getting sick if the ice cream was spoiled. Avoid this store !
I just wanted to say how thankful I am for good customer service. I had a mistake with my order and appreciate how the company handled it and went above and beyond to help solve the issue. Always great ice cream but it was great to know they have their customers satisfaction as a priority.
I was absolutely appalled today when I realized they only had one girl working the entire store, at 14 years old. She was visibly upset trying to hold back tears because a customer before I had gotten there yelled at her. But 2 other people, adults at that, were scheduled to be there with her but never showed up! The manager should have shut that place down for the day not forced her to work alone. She was amazing at her job. Quick.
Paid 18 to get 3 little cups of melted ice cream. She literally handed me the cups already melting. So I bought ice cream soup pretty much. I forgot why I stopped coming to cold stone
I really enjoy giving good reviews. However, this place does not deserve one, and I hope a negative review will encourage the owner/manager to step up their game... Decided to stop in for ice cream yesterday before going to a matinee next door. The stench of spoiled milk hit me as soon as I opened the door. The place was FILTHY... the floors had not been mopped for a long time, the tables had dried ice cream on them, the glass on showcases were covered with dozens of obviously old handprints, and there was trash littering the outside of the premises. You can literally *feel* how disgustingly dirty the place is. The girl who served me was totally apathetic; as soon as she got done serving, she disappeared into the back where there was at least one other girl hanging out. It wouldn't take much to keep an establishment that serves food clean and safe. Honestly, for the prices they charge, the place should be fined for poor showmanship and possible endangerment to people's health. Cold Stone Creamery needs to check up on the quality of their franchises. The place was shameful.
This place is filthy. Trash all over the floor, ice cream melting in the case, staff wearing earbuds and getting the order wrong, coupled with a poor attitude made for a very unpleasant visit. I won't be going back to this store again.
Look folks, it’s ice cream and not rocket science. The place was dirty and the staff needs retraining on what customer service means. This crew of three acted like they would rather be somewhere else. Maybe they should find other jobs. I know I will find another Cold Stone.
The customer service and employee communication at this location are severely lacking. It took 10 minutes to even be acknowledged and then when we were, it was a mistake so the young guy up front gave his attention to another group instead. There was a very short girl who had her hair down and all over the ice cream, but at that point I wasted time and gas so i wasn’t going to leave with nothing
My boyfriend and I went here tonight for a treat and we were inside and decided within a couple minutes. Weren’t even greeted, there were three girls behind the counter to busy gossiping to help with the customers. They did see me as I made eye contact. I made a comment that they would rather gossip, no acknowledgement. One girl was scooping and she didn’t even mix either of our toppings through completely. One spot was all topping then plane Ice cream the rest of the way. Service was super slow, lack of customer service was disappointing. If you want to sit and gossip in front of the customers and not do you job that’s on you, but don’t waist my time. I would suggest doing it in the back out of customer range and view. Super unprofessional.
