We got the chicken Milanese and spaghetti, the spaghetti was the best I've had, but was bad compared to how good the chicken Milanese was. Lots of different elements and contrasting flavors and textures, a great dish. We shared a caramel cookie bar, and it was a great earth caramel that was contrasted great with the lemon cream.Will definitely go into our rotation! Our server was also so kind and our check was brought out in a great Mitch albom book, the five people you meet in heaven. It was a great touch.
The place is very unique, great selections of drinks and wines. The service is great and overall a great experience for the Arizona winter weather to have some wine and enjoy good company. The reason of the 4 stars is the expectation of the food. For 50 dlls a plate I was expecting a little more. The fish I selected was too salty and the steak my wife got had good flavor but the French fries as a side was not the best side. Basically you can get better food for the price in a different place
Lovely place to dine at for lunch or dinner! The food has been exceptional both times I've been and looking forward to future dining experiences there! The menu is always changing, which makes each experience a new one. The food is beautifully crafted on the plate and palate alike, not too much nor too little. And highly recommend the desert, especially the Salted Caramel Bar with the lemon mousse! It's superb!
I have dined at Board & Batten on 3 occasions and each time the food, beverages and service was top notch. Its a very cool escape, Its perfect or date night or entertaining. Outdoor dining and firepit area for 16 is a fun place to gather.
I was visiting from Seattle. My brother and his wife took us here. We ordered almost the whole menu and loved every bite. The Beet Hummus and Bacon wrapped dates are delicious. It was a wonderful spot to hang out and relax. The staff took care of us like we were family.
We have been here once before but last night was even better than the first. We started off with some cocktails. I really enjoyed the Cassia.For our appetizers, we did the cheese and olive plate. The cheese were delicious. For dinner we had the pork and swordfish (which was a substitute for the salmon) Both dishes were amazing. For dessert we had an almond cake which had a citrus sorbet. It was the best dessert I have had in a long time. We will definitely be back would love to see the almond cake as a regular dessert menu addition. Great service and nice touches like blankets for patio and fire pots.
This is some seriously amazing food! I Can't say enough about how great our meals were. We will be back again and again. This is my new favorite place. The food, the drinks, the service were all perfect. I can't thank you all enough for all your dedicated work.
Great atmosphere, outdoor patio, romantic. Appetizers and wine were perfection.
We’re regulars here. James, Aaron, Josue, and Veronica have treated us incredibly from the moment we walked in the first time. The drinks are sublime, we order three or four apps every time we come and have never been disappointed, and the entrees are seasonal but beyond delicious without fail. Can’t say enough good things. I’m hesitant to review because I love the hidden gem nature of it. We take every one we know here and no one has left unsatisfied.
