always the saving grace when we're in town visiting religious family!! staff is friendly, helpful, and quick!! mexican mocha is a fave.

The girls are usually great here and offer me a free coffee while waiting for delivery order today I had the worst service and no coffee supposedly she is the ASSISTANT MANAGER. NO SERVCE SKILLS FAKE SMILE. I WILL NEVER RETURN
This place is the place to get coffee, great staff that knows how to make drinks. I've never had a drink that was made wrong. The staff is very friendly and to top it off they always greet my dogs with pup cups when I come through the drive thru. 10 out 10 this is my coffee place.
You can not go wrong with making Black Rock Coffee Bar your new favorite coffee shop. Just do it already. They know pull impeccable espresso shots, steam their milk to perfection, and give friendly and respectable customer service. JUST DO IT ALREADY. I feel so weird and embarrassed after this mornings visit to try and get coffee at what used to be my favorite place… I pulled in as usual and there was plenty of room behind the car in line so I pulled in. An employee comes running up to my car and asked me to get in the back of the line, at that point I was like I am??? But then WAY behind me and I mean way back there they had two cars in line and I felt bad cause I clearly didn’t see them I wouldn’t cut in line, but I felt like he thought I did it on purpose… anyway I definitely left and went to a different location cause I was embarrassed. You guys should at least have someone standing there advising people where the line starts to avoid making someone feel horrible…
What a joke! I pulled up to the drive thru and there was one car ahead of me that pulled forward. I literally waited 10 minutes at the speaker only to find out there were cars behind me backing up… looked behind and noticed a worker was taking the order of the car behind me. Thought that was odd since I was the first in line… waited another few minutes and looked behind, he was gone… he was literally taking the orders of ALLLL the cars behind me! Ended up leaving - I love Black Rock but this location clearly doesn’t know how to handle the drive thru.
Honestly it was cool the first few months being here but I came to realize their coffee is pretty gross & the customer service is garbage. I tried ordering an iced cappuccino & was told it was impossible to make one. I’m a former coffee barista.. you can in fact make it iced. The woman who spoke to me was rude and completely unprofessional. She used that basic “I know more than you” snobby voice to try and explain to me why she couldn’t, assuming she knew more than I did. She wasn’t even the one running the window. She pushed that girl out of the way and cut her off when she asked her to remake it into an iced cappuccino for me because they messed up the rest of our order already to begin with… honestly pretty sure they were just lazy hungover college girls who lack skills in the customer service industry. I ended up settling with the hot cappuccino and when I say this I swear it’s not an exaggeration… it was complete sludge & wasn’t even drinkable. Seriously… how hard is it to make coffee? ? It’s all machines. All you gotta do is pour, mix, and froth when needed.
The girl who took my order with the tablet in the drive thru was super sweet! I ordered a Mexican Mocha with oat milk. I did not order with caramel and never have, as this is my favorite drink aside from the jackhammer. I got to the window and another nice girl repeated the order back, however she said there was caramel in it. I let her know I didn’t ask for caramel. She asked if they could make a drink without caramel and there was a super rude barista who said “she doesn’t just want to try it? It’s the same thing” and when I asked if the caramel had dairy she said very rudely “no” I took the drink and left because I needed to get to work. I have an email from black rock support stating the caramel is not dairy free. So now I’m stuck with a drink I can’t have. Won’t be coming back to this location.
