We absolutely LOVE this place. The bananas are so big and the chocolate is to die for. The toppings are so fun. We love the Campfire and the got Jammed. The ice cream is also delicious and so creamy. We dream about eating at this place.
Always a blast trying different combinations and it’s always delicious. So much fun to bring friends and family too. Love Balboa’s!
I'm addicted! The desserts are so good and the workers are so helpful. My only complaint is that it's so far from my house. Let me know when you're ready for another store that's not so far north! Also, tables would be great!
We heard about this place from a family member and they said it was awesome. Well the dipped frozen banana was awesome and the dipped ice cream was also awesome! I have no complaints about the desert air the quality of it. The reason for the 3 stars is because there is no place to sit once you have your treat. There were 2 small benches out front that could sit 6 people and that's it. We had a group of 8 of us and one of the benches was taken so 3 people out of our group sat on the bench wail the other 5 of us sat on the ground...... This place is good and they are busy and I hope they make it! Please put some small tables and chairs out front. There is plenty of space for them.

We had chocolate covered bananas with toppings and they were delicious, I took 2 chocolate covered ice cream bars home, they didn't melt! The chocolate really keeps the ice cream temp locked in! I will definitely be back. Support small businesses ! ?

The owners are ADORABLE. Married couple with the husband helping his wife pursue her dreams. Got the bananas dipped in potato chips and fruit loops. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
If you're a chocolate fan, this place does not disappoint! We drove 45 mins for this treat and boy oh boy the kids were overjoyed. I loved every bit of morsel. The facility, including the restroom, is IMMACULATE! The staff is very friendly and patient as we reviewed the menu. They also have a reward program in the form of a punch card. Say no more, I'll be back! ?
This place is a perfect snack spot. There's a great selection of toppings, and the menu of suggested toppings and drizzles is perfect for someone like myself who always struggles with making decisions when there's a lot of options. Also really appreciated that the chocolate they dip in is dairy free, getting frozen treats with lactose intolerance can feel like a minefield but this made it really worry free. The frozen bananas are great, texture and flavor were both perfect, but the real draw for me was Simple Soda. Simple was always a staple at farmer's markets for us and it seemed like they had closed down for good a few months ago. When we found out it was back at Balboas, we were absolutely elated. Just as great as I remember. My fiancée really enjoyed the dipped ice cream bar as well, just be sure to grab a napkin as it can get messy with a lot of toppings and drizzles. Going to be a go-to snack spot for the foreseeable future.
