Hands down one of the best taco spots I’ve ever been to. They cook the meat on a mesquite grill - al pastor packed with flavor, chicken, asada all fantastic! This place is a gem.
Amazing food! We got tacos and burritos. The al pastor was the best of the meat, although we didn’t try the shredded beef. Highly recommend! Won’t disappoint!
This is the best backyard taco location! Somehow the food tastes better here than at any of the other chains around the valley. Great ambience, bilingual cashiers. Only downside is no drive thru. But you’re just exchanging the type of experience you’re having - more quality, less grab and go. Highly recommend. Try the birria tacos
THE BEST CARNE ASADA STREET TACOS IN ARIZONA HANDS DOWN! I hunt for street tacos everywhere I go, and this place (in my opinion) is the best. They really hook up the portions of meat too. Always great service, and even when it's packed the line moves fast. They haven't let me down yet. I definitely recommend giving this place a shot.
Lovely neighborhood burrito and taco shack! Limited seating and parking, but you can park in the nice neighborhood around the corner. Expect a moderate wait time, but the mesquite smell and free salsa bar are well worthwhile! ?
I enjoyed my good sized burrito. Well cooked ingredients. Busy when we went in, but the outdoor shaded patio was nice to relax and wait for our meal to be called out. Solid place to eat. No wonder it's so popular.
Why cant you guys be consistent with your birria sauce like when you first started out.I have sent an email to backyard tacos before... Sauce still not hot & very watered-down. Food is always great but not your birria sauce. Every location is the same. Make it right please.
Delicious. No complaints. Love the food! Especially love their green salsa with avocado!
Cold beers & hot tacos! Excellent! Cool, smaller free standing building that is best when the sun is going down. Friendly staff.
Wow! I've been hanging around Mesa for almost a year where my fiancee lives. We decided to go out for dinner but not to make it too fancy or long of a wait. This place fit the bill.It was a little busy when we arrived but the lines moved quickly. The menu is sorry simple and I appreciate that. Don't need to be confused by a 1,000 item menu. She ordered chicken tacos and I ordered the steak gordita with chips and beans along with Mexican cokes. The food did not take too long considering how many orders they were fulfilling. The place had a larger staff that was very efficient. The food was delicious. It was just enough without making you feel bloated. This is an awesome place to enjoy a meal. We day outside and it was very pleasant.
