Great service and amazing food. A true diamond in the ruff. Full bar and classic Italian decor. My wife said her steak was the best she has ever had. I had the shrimp scampi on angle hair and was in heaven. If you have read this far, stop, hit the direction’s button and get over there for the best Italian in town. We were in the area for a couple of nights, and the hotel staff recommended Mario's. Upon entering the restaurant around 5:15, we were greeted and offered a table right away. The person that seated us was also our server. He took our drink orders right away(2 waters and 1 beer). Our food orders were taken once he brought our drinks. From there the service was down hill. He did bring us bread and a family style salad. He then brought our main course while we were 1/2 way through or salads. The portions were large for both meals, as well astasty. I asked for a spoon and he never brought it, if fact he never came back at all. A dining experience is totally ruined if the service is not up to par. Our bartender Patrick was amazing! This dish was amazing. I requested extra bacon and goodness it was delicious! Loved the vibe. Very intimate yet relaxing. Definitely recommend.
Fantastic restaurant with excellent homemade dishes. Our food and drinks were top notch. The best part of our dinner was the outstanding service from Patrick behind the bar. This is someone who knows how to treat a customer, something which is very hard to find these days. Mario's Italian Restaurant and Patrick have our highest recommendation. A++

The staff is attentive and fun to talk to. The food is plentiful and good, but the place is too popular. I shall try again in the middle of the week.
