We come here quite often in fact it's one of my favorite restaurants, I always get the slow cooked pot roast but tonight the gravy was different I always get the beef gravy it was different in color first thing I noticed and did not taste very good at all. We took my order back and they were happy to fix it but unfortunately got the same gravy.. while there waiting for the new order we heard the cooks joking about the gravy.. I don't know if it's a new cook or what but the consistency was definitely not there. ?
Great service and large portions. I ordered the taco salad this time, tasted wonderful and fresh! Everyone here is so nice, this is one of our regular spots. Also: definitely try their pies, they are to die for.
We dined there Friday night and the food was great. I wanted to thank Sam, our server, for exceptional service. Sam took great care of us and treated our 6 year old grandson as if his opinion was just as important as the adults opinion. Top notch service Sam. You were awesome.
We drove 45 mins to Black Bear today for what was suppose to be a good pot roast and new York steak. Unfortunately it took forever to get the food and when we did get the food it was dry and the pot roast was room temperature felt the it had been served and sitting for a while. We had to ask for coffee for eating utensils. I have never had such terrible service.
This place was filthy from the outside to the inside. It took almost 30min to get my order taken and another 45min to get my food, and the server never brought the Orange juice that I ordered. The table was filthy, the silverware were filthy, even the hot sauce and ketchup and were sticky with globs of gunk on them. There was so much filth that it appeared systemic and the fault of poor management, not the fault of employees. With all my travling and eating at dozens of Black Bear Dinners, this has been to only nasty one I have come across.
Nice service staff. Coffee cup was filled regularly even by staff other than our waitress. Quality and quantity of food was good but it was very cold in the restaurant. We even moved from a booth to a table trying to get away from the air conditioning breeze that was blowing directly on us even making the menus flutter on the table but it didn’t help. For that reason I wouldn’t go again even if I wore a sweater.
ALL the staff were very friendly and hard workers. They were hustling, and kept a positive attitude. Lots of smiles and helping each other out. Quick seating. Order came quickly. The Reuben Sandwich was very good. My veggie omelet was delicious. Peyton was a fantastic server. We always enjoy the food and pleasant atmosphere. Keep up the great work.
Rhonda was absolutely amazing! She is so nice and friendly and helped me so much. The food was great I loved it but Rhonda is the reason I will be back.
Service here was very friendly and accommodating. Menu is full of great home-style breakfast choices. Glad to see that they have non-pork choice for breakfast meat Convenient location. When in doubt about where to eat breakfast in Lake Havasu City, eat here.
I always go there for the mimosas & food! The staff is amazingly awesome! Wouldn’t go anywhere else for my breakfast, lunch & mimosas!
