Giving it 3 stars instead of 2 because there’s a possibility I might try again. I first seen the advertisement for this restaurant on Instagram. Initial thought was the concept is cute.I was a little thrown off that there wasn’t a wait staff, you only had one cashier to take orders, and you have to seat yourself.I had the egg, bacon, & spinach which I was told it was a popular menu item. It was just okay to me nothing special. The green pineapple coconut iced tea was AMAZING. My husband had the ham, egg, & cheese waffle sandwich that came with a side salad with egg on it. He didn’t care too much for it. He also got a coffee in which was lukewarm. My kids got the Nutella waffles they really enjoyed it.If there’s a next time I will just go for there sweet waffle dishes.
Cute establishment! Gets busy very quickly after 10 am on a Sunday. The minimalistic design keeps it clean and modern. The service is pretty quick, but unfortunately not like a normal restaurant setting where the entire table gets their food at the same time...each person gets their plate as it's completed so you eat separately or you eat cold. They do have several flavorful options for drinks and quite the waffle menu to choose from. Each of us enjoyed our different dishes, just felt that they over cooked the waffles beyond just a little crispy,to more of brown and brittle. The burnt taste changed the overall flavor which is a bummer.
Cute, ducked-off breakfast spot in Goodyear. It's located in the Goodwill and DD's discount plaza. Easy ordering, food brought to your table. Good portion, but I wish there could be more. Great open floor plan to meet up with others. I would say get there before 2 hours after opening because it became busy at brunch hours. The waffles were light and airy. I had the Cream Cheese waffle with the kiwi and caramel and a side of ice cream. Dessert in the morning. ? I will definitely visit again.
My friend wanted to try this place so we went for breakfast. The restaurant itself was clean and spacious. The prices were a little high but if the food is good then it's worth it. So there were 4 of us and our food came out at different times. My friend took one bite and there was a hair visible in the waffle. She took it up and they remade her plate but since our food came out at different times we were all done eating by the time her food came out. I thought they should at least have offered to comp her meal for the inconveniences but they didn't. The way they stack the sandwich makes it hard to eat with a fork and knife but they drizzle syrups on top so messy to eat with just your hands. The bacon was sad looking I mean for the price I think you should get thicker bacon. The bacon reminds me of the precooked kind that you microwave. I wasn't very impressed. Waffle house is cheaper and tastier for me personally.
Try this place out, I loved it! There are so many options on the menu! I ordered the Nutella waffle and a lavender white chocolate latte. I need a walk now! I will definitely be back!
Food tasted good but you are paying a higher price for a small portion. Value ratio is not there in my opinion. Coffee was good the problem was the wait. Took about 25min for coffee and food was about 45min. Way to long, not enough seating. This is the second time for us and I think it will be the last. Minimal customer service.
The lady at the cash register was very rude!!we ask her questions about the food.lol..she walks away with out saying I’ll be right back…lol.left us at the register shocked..she can back to say no one knows what in it lol …foods was ok ..the drinks are yummy!!!will I stop here again no!!!I rather go to ihop and wait in the long line!!!!
I appreciate the espresso selection, I tried the hot cinnamon coconut mocha latte and it was okay. I am definitely going back to try the lavender latte. I also ordered the Waffletto and to my surprise, it was savory and delicious. I also appreciate that the visual aspects such as the plating and coffee was served in an actual coffee mug not a plastic to-go cup. The only recommendation is to add a plain waffle with syrup option to the menu (not for the kids) for those who want to keep it simple.
Loved this place, good food, very nice staff. It was a bit pricey. But I guess everything is now days. I had the chorizo waffles. BE AWARE some of there dishes come with a very spicy paste chili on the side, it seems to be part of the presentation. I order the egg,ham and cheese for my kids and the chili paste was very spicy for them. The salad dressing delicious! Il definitely place Waffletto as one of my fav breakfast place.
To be honest i been seen some reviews that says its over price i order a kids wafle meal and 2 waffle plates and 2 drinks and i pay 45 i think the price its fair comparing to the other places like this i highly recommended the chorizo waffle it goes beyond the experience
