The food that was available was decent. The staff were friendly and helpful.The online ordering is an issue. They have an online system that takes orders, bills the credit card, and sends emails. The staff say the system doesn't work and they can't see it. I've tried calling with no success to get this refunded.When ordering in person, a good chunk of the menu was out of stock by 6pm.It's okay if you're close by and in person but i can't recommend it with so many other options around.
First time having dinner and wasnt disappointed. Kudos to the Chef for talking with us and accommodating our food requests. Catfish nuggets, sweet potatoe fries, Wings, Shrimp and Grits, all very good and cooked with lots of flavor! All the servers were very friendly and made our visit fun! Great happy hour drinks! Another added bonus was the owner stopped by our table to thank us for coming in. Great place, felt appreciated and welcomed! Will be back!
It was an okay experience.. I nearly walked out because no one greeted me and thought I had come too early. The waiter was great, but overall I’ve had better experiences at a restaurant.I also came during the happy hour and expected some information about it. I wasn’t really feeling the vibe here. I most likely won’t be coming anytime soon.
How do you mess up toast? The Urban Grill did as it was grilled not toasted (tasted like grilled in a dirty pan). They were out of almost everything upon arrival. Waited to order too long. We are local people looking for a new breakfast place. Food blah.. This is not it!!
We wanted to try a new place and I'm so glad we tried The Urban Corner. The catfish tacos and catfish po boy sandwich was bomb! Such great flavor, extremely reasonably priced and just a chillax vibe. We'll definitely be back...we look forward to checking out karaoke and the DJ over the weekend...and more food, of course!
Tried this place for brunch. Their website and google reviews made it sound fantastic. We waiting an hour for an omelet and scrambled eggs. When we got them the orders were incorrect and cold. The cheese wasn’t even melted on the eggs which would tell you they weren’t hot enough. Do yourself a favor and go to the Waffle House instead. At least the food is hot and fast.
When your first time at a restaurant begins the meal with the bartender telling you she shouldn't have your table and she's sorry in advance for not giving you proper service, it's never a good sign. Then when it takes 15 minutes to get drinks, and one of the people in your party has to change orders 3 times because the restaurant is out of everything, you should just leave at that point because the food you do get is nothing I would even take home and feed my dog. I ordered nachos with steak. I should clarify that steak = "Angus ground beef", which was cold. Like it came out of the freezer cold. Then another person at the table ordered the Philly cheese steak. Those items came out at the same time. The philly was VERY dry. After ten minutes my husband's hamburger came out. While it was warm, he said it tasted like bland dog food. My other friend never even got her food and no one came to see us. It was quite possibly the WORST experience I've ever had at a restaurant. DO. NOT. COME. HERE.
I always have so much fun here! The music is always amazing & the staff is great. The waitress Brianna was awesome. She made sure we had a good time! Would highly recommend
1st time here to grab some cocktails and chill with the hubby. Nice restaurant close to home. Drinks were a bit expensive-Sat live dj was nice. When we walked in a couple told us they ran out of certain foods,but understood with this economy. We will come back again and support local businesses.
Amazing food and amazing service. Highly recommend this place ! If you get lucky you get this awesome waitress named Jaime. She is so full of personality and she made our experience even better.
