Upon ordering I was greeted with a smile and great customer service. I ordered the shrimp bacon burrito and it was delicious! ?! My burrito did come cut in half by the kitchen..why would you cut a burrito in half??The chips were crispy, and the salsa was fresh. There was plenty of tables for seating. Everything was neat and clean.I look forward to going back ?
We came out on taco Tuesday to get our normal fish tacos (especial) so amazing by the way. The cashier was helpful and friendly. We recommend the shrimp trio taco plate. It was the first time trying and very delicious! The restaurant was clean as usual and love the mango tea. The gal that brought out our food was also pleasant and courteous. We love this place and would recommend to family and friends.
Weve been going this location for more than 10yrs. Last wed June 1 was a bad experience. We always ordered Gourmet shrimp taco bec were vegetarian but we got chicken instead. I asked dessa if she could change for me and make the tacos more crispier instead of saggy but she kept saying thats how they do it. I told her No its Not bec we ordered the same food all the time. She just had an attitude ovrrall. While waiting for our shrimp taco she went to our table and said she need to charge me more for the shrimp & i said its fine. Before i left i called her and thanks for a alittle crispier taco and told her to be more nice to customer and NOt be rude. I told her i live here for 18yrs and i come here often. She told me she works therefor 5years and Never saw me. Well most of time we ordered and my husband pickup thats why i know exactly what im ordering & how its made. I owe a UPS store for 18 yrs and customer service is very impt to me. Maybe she thinks im ASEan and she can just be rude to me. I found out that shes a Team leader. Shes setting a bad example to her co worker by arguing with me in front of them. Basically i didnt enjoy my food bec i was treated badly. Me and my husband came June 1 at 10:15 am. I hope someone will teach her good customer service.
I Andrew Fernandez, am currently present here. It’s 8:34pm on a Monday night may 2nd eating an all natural steak California burrito with sour cream and Mexican rice in front of my girl who’s also eating the same thing. And I have to say this is the best experience I’ve ever had and it is my first time here. The guy who took our order was the best cashier ever he seemed so happy to be working here and only positive vibes. He even gave us recommendations. The whole team of staff also seem happy and positive vibes. I felt welcomed the moment we walked in those double doors. I am in disbelief of how amazing the place is. Thank you to the staff for this amazing experience after a long day from work.
Rubio's Has really delicious food. However however, their employees are not the greatest. 1st I paid for a large drink. The lady never gave me my cup. So I requested my cup and she gave me a small cup even though I had paid for a large. My order was done and the lady just plopped it on the counter and never said a word. But that is not rubio's fault. Their food is great.
The food is pretty good, but the dining area and especially the patio could use a thorough cleaning. The patio stinks and should be pressure washed! Also, I’ve gotta say, my shrimp bowl tonight was a bit disappointing. This is exactly how it came out to me, looking like a sloppy mess, not at all like the picture.
We ordered dinner last night from this location. I ordered the grilled gourmet chicken taco plate and the tacos were delicious. The rice and black beans it came with did not have any flavor. I don't think they added salt to the rice and beans but I added it at home and it was definitely better. My husband ordered a shrimp burrito and said it was delicious.
They changed the fish in the Original fish tacos ?Per Rubios: “Due to product shortages, Arizona locations are serving wild-caught Hake in lieu of Pollock on the Original Fish Taco® and Fish Taco Especial. Hake is a white fish in the same family as Cod and Pollock.”It’s gonna be a “NO” for us. We gave it a try since the new fish being used was supposed to be similar. It wasn’t. It was “fishy” which I hate and is the reason I will only eat pollock like the one they had been using for its mild, non-fishy flavor. I ordered the two fish taco plate and ended up having to give it to my dog since I couldn’t tolerate it. The new fish being used is unacceptable and we will not be ordering again until it has been switched back. We used doordash for placing our pickup order which gave us an eta of an hour. We didn’t believe that a two fish taco plate & a steak quesadilla would take a whole hour on a Thursday so we decided to show up within 30 minutes. Sure enough, our order was already sitting there when we arrived for who knows how long. As we got back into our car to leave, we noticed that the salsa we requested wasn’t in the bag so we had to go back inside the store. Glad we noticed before leaving the parking lot! Also, they didn’t have any lime for squeezing on your fish. When we got home, which is only about a 5 minute drive, we found that our food was cold. Additionally, the chips that came with the fish taco plate and with the quesadilla were 95% crumbs!! This was such a waste of money and a trip. Get it together Rubios!
I love Rubio's food so I hate giving a 1 star review.My last experience would get 0 stars if possible. One of the WORST food delivery orders of any restaurant. I requested several sauces on the side as well as salsa for my chips. My tacos arrived with dry chicken and nothing else. It was supposed to come with avocados, fried cheese, and bacon. Their white sauce (a favorite) I ordered at an additional.charge was missing. I will have to think if I will order from them again.
We usually always enjoy Rubio's tacos but this location was disappointing, dirty, and had C team on staff.
