Pizza was delicious. One of the best I've tried in maybe 5 years. I glanced at the reviews and saw a string of bad ones starting about 11 months ago. Maybe they realized they were losing business and switched back to better ingredients because my pizza was excellent.
First let me start off by saying I’ve been coming to Barros since I was a little girl and now I take my kids to Barros. However, my last visit has me seriously considering ever coming back. I placed a pick up order (as we live outside of the delivery boundaries) and upon pick up everything was great, I even left a small tip in appreciation of them packing everything up for me. When I got home I realized the wings weren’t placed in the bag. No big deal, I call the store and let them know. Person on phone said they would make some wings fresh as 2 hours had passed since the phone order and everything else. When I get to the store they handed me 2 boxes of cold wings, when I told the girl at the counter she dismissed what I said entirely and tried to make it seem like I was asking for her to do extra. This might not seem like a big deal to some but I had already traveled 20 miles for two round trips to Barros after a long day of work. Super disappointed in the way this whole situation was handled. Please be aware if you order take out from this Barros.
Be forewarned about borrows Pizza in Goodyear Arizona. They make a great product unfortunately that does not extend to the delivery service very poor when it comes to waiting for them. The past few times I have ordered is taken well over an hour and a half to almost 3 hours to get my food it’s best not to order and have a delivered it’s best to go into the establishment and place your order. They are very inefficient when it comes to their staffing and management
Honestly so frustrating anytime we get delivery. The pizza is good but we never get any of the sauces we order, sure it isn’t a big deal one time for .50 cents but I can’t even imagine the amount of money we are owed at this point from missing sauces. I’ve called previously and was told it would be added to our “account” for next time, safe to say that probably doesn’t exist and we were never refunded or given extra sauces.
I got a small pepperoni pizza. It was good and the establishment was nice to bring family or on a date.
Pricier than places like Domino’s or Pizza Hut but much better quality. Ordered an XL thin crust with Italian sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms, and garlic along with 24 boneless wings. Paid between $50-55.
I ordered a small meat pizza and asked for the crust to be crispy. The lady ask if I wanted it well done and I said yes. After a 30 min wait, I was served a soggy crust pizza. The only reason I give this rating 3 stars, the flavor of the pizza besides the crust was great.
Amazing food!!!! Only issue is that there’s A lot gnats in the restaurant
I've had a lot of pizza...Chicago, New York, etc. This was not in my top ten. I think some people like this style but it's not for me. On the positive side - ready exactly as ordered and ready on time. Kudos to the staff for their hard work!
In the past, I was a huge fan of Barro’s. But unfortunately I don’t think I can order from there again. I ordered a pizza for delivery that arrived with the all the cheese and toppings completely slid off the pizza and in the corner of the box. I called and just asked for a replacement since mistakes happen and it was probably places sideways for too long. The replacement pizza arrived and again, all the cheese and toppings were off the pizza and completely in the corner and side of the box. The called Barro’s once again and their solution was to give me half off and send another pizza. They never sent a replacement. I am still trying to get a refund.
